Hampton Inn by Hilton Cave City

Great staff who was passionate about his job. Made sure everything was going well with our stay.

Our smelled a bit musty.

Convenient and love the breakfast. Comfy beds and clean

The staff was super nice, friendly and helpful. The hotel is right by 65 and has many options for food around it. It¿s a 15 drive to the visitor center of Mammoth Cave State Park. It is also close to other places for fun and games with kids.

The breakfast started at 7:00 am, but it would had been helpful if it starts at 6:00 am like during weekdays. We had to be go e by 7:40 am and that cut it a little tight.

The breakfast was nice. Good location. Very quiet.

It was only two years old so it looked very new.

The odor in our room was overwhelming¿a sour damp smell.

Great attitude of staff

Breakfast was a disaster. They ran out of everything by 8:30, the waffle maker was broken, even the water spout was broken and the remedy they suggested was to buy bottled water!

It was newer or remodeled and close to the attractions we were interested in.

The weekend was certainly busy at the hotel, and the breakfast crew had a really hard time keeping things stocked and cleaned.

It was clean..and everyone was nice..pleasant to talk with

The TV had only 26 channels..not many to choose from..we had to call to the desk for toliet paper..there was no extras in the room

Everything! Was new a new awesome.

The breakfast was wonderful and well-stocked. The rooms were nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating!. Overall a great place to stay.

I dont have anything negative to say about my stay with Hampton Inn at Cave City KY. The breakfast is what youd expect, but ive always found it to be decently well. My room was clean and tidy, and the shower had really good water pressure. The premises was also very well kept.

I have no complaints

- We had tours scheduled for Mammouth Cave. This hotel was a good location for the park proximity. Unfortunately due to the shutdown our tours were cancelled.- Breakfast was nice. Hampton Inn is well known for decent breakfasts.- The staff was very pleasant.- The room was nicely furnished. It's current and up-to-date although I felt like it was fluff for the eyes because once you really looked at stuff, it wasn't that great.

- The bathroom wasn't the cleanest. I read prior reviews also commenting on the same issue. There was black mold or something around the safety bar in the shower. The on/off valve also had the same black mold or something. When you just sit on the toilet and look in the shower you can see it's not been cleaned properly. They need to bleach those areas and the hotel needs some quality review.- A couple of dead bugs in the bathroom.- The streaming channels, nothing special. I could not find any local news.- The biggest issue I had is that this is a Hampton Inn owned by Hilton and I expected more from this chain. Their online information as to what is included with the hotel room is vague. I spent some time trying to reach out to someone with the local hotel to inquire if a refrigerator was in the room or not. Better online language would have resolved the issue because their 800 number is worthless.- The rooms do not include a microwave, nor is there a microwave in the lobby for customer access. A microwave is pretty standard for any hotel room. The fire alarm went off a couple of times (accidentally they indicated). Maybe they have a bigger issue at the hotel or was it a fluke.- The small refrigerator in the room had no freezer and no dials to adjust the coolness. We just kept stuff in our cooler because it was colder than their refrigerator.- There was a hair dryer in the room - although I brought my own because again it wasn't mentioned in their online site.

With couple of minor suggestions, pleased with stay.

Asked for handicapped accessible room. Room was on 3rd floor not easy with luggage. Bathroom needed nonslip strips in tub to avoid slipprty tub surface and commode too low, needed taller commode for easier use.

Bathroom was spacious.

Tray was a bit small. Couldn’t get two coffees and two breakfasts on tray.

The reception personell are simply outstanding.

The breakfast was everything but healthy and everything in plastic. Really not something to start a day with.

It was clean. The breakfast was good. Location was good.

Toilet just kept running. Nobody there to fix it. Person at the desk said he wasn't allowed to charge our room per management even though they only had a few of the rooms taken because it was Christmas night. Lots of empty rooms. Also people across the the hall had dogs that just kept barking. Again, the person at the desk told me there was nothing he could do about it and then again refused to move our room and would also not refund our money so we could just find a different hotel even though we were not there very long and it was still early evening. Then to top it off, the smoke alarm had a very bright light that was blinking all night long. I did not bother to go back to the person at the desk for obvious reasons. Never been treated with such lack of courtesy at a hotel in my 47 years of life. Very disappointing!!!!!
