- It was clean and walking distance to the City Center, so no driving was required to sample the area's bourbons.
- The location near everything in Bardstown was great and convenient. The beds were comfortable and the close parking made it easy to load/unload the car. Plenty of towels in the room and space to get ready.

Cons -
- The staff mixed up what room I went into and at about 9 PM, they also gave another traveler the same room. I had valuables in the room and I was very upset when they tried to get in while I was in the room.
- The bathroom space was cramped with the way the bathroom door opened into the toilet room. The hotel stops serving hot water and hot coffee with breakfast hours, so that was a bummer when I was looking for a cup of hot coffee at 9:30 AM.
- This is really small, but upon checking out I couldn't wait to relay how much I loved the room, but the woman who took my keys seemed almost as though she felt put out to deal with me and when I said, "everything was fantastic," she said "all right." Odd.
