    Pros +

    • This is a modern, clean, and convenient hotel.
    • The hotel and rooms were very clean and the staff was friendly.
    • Pool and breakfast

    Cons -

    • Nothing negative to say
    • The bed was very uncomfortable, like sleeping on layers of cardboard. The breakfast was mediocre, but it was better than our experience in Durango’s Fairfield Inn.
    • Pool was closed, we were looking forward to the hot tub. I didn’t get the room I reserved. Breakfast was served at 7:00am and it would have been better if it were at 6:00…. We didn’t get breakfast because of the late breakfast time.

It was a nice hotel overall. It appeared clean.

Beds were comfortable. Room temperature was comfortable when we got into room. Nice shower temperature and bathroom space.

    Great location, clean facilities.

Breakfast was very disappointing. No hot water for tea, no coffee available at 8 30 am. Bacon was very undercooked. Lighting in room was poor.

    Staff was friendly.

Outlets were difficult to plug anything into; drapes wouldn't close (broken); fridge was not cold.

Loved the friendly staff and all the abomination they had. especially with having kids!

The bed was horrible. it was not comfortable at all.

    10PandoraPosted on: 11-3-2025

Pool was well maintained and didn’t make the entire hallway smell like chlorine like you’ll find in a lot of indoor pools. The room was classy and clearly updated.

Very nice hotel, staff very friendly, room was very clean. Best scrambled eggs I've ate in a while. Big variety for breakfast. Will definitely stay here again. Nicest hotel that we have stayed in here in Kansas City. The staff did a great job!!!

The only thing I didn't like was when you ran the water in the vanity sink, you would get a whiff of sewer gas. Everytime you ran the water, you got a whiff of sewer gas. That's it. Other than that, the place was great!

Breakfast: Eggs, English muffin, toaster, coffee, waffles and yogurt with toppings were exceptional. Great ice facility. The electronic window shade and curtains were terrific. Didn't think i requested ADA compliant room, but those features were fabulous.

Try 6 pillows per king size bed. 3 for each person: 1. Soft 2. Medium and 3. Firm. Choices are everything! Sleep is important.

    Clean, great location

They ran out of parking spots. Most nights we had to park at the Freddy’s across the street and walk.

It took 3 rooms before we had one that didn’t smell. The first room smelled like cigarette smoke and the second room smelled like soiled milk. The pool area was chaos. Kids traveling sports team stayed at the hotel. Parents weren’t minding their kids. Parents sat outside on the patio, while their unruly children took over the pool. It was so bad my 9 year old daughter couldn’t even use the pool. I chose this hotel specifically for the cleanliness rating and the pool- both were a let down. I didn’t like anything, besides the friendliness of the front desk staff.

The rooms smelled bad. We had to go buy air freshener from Target. The pool was insane. The hotel is located next to an event center- which hosts traveling sports teams. The kids in the teams were chaos, and the parents let them do as they pleased.

    Clean, friendly staff, good breakfast

Only suggestion is to have coffee creamer for the coffee in the mornings

    5RichardPosted on: 2-16-2025

The location was great the breakfast was too late in the morning for me to try overall it was a decent place to stay. The beds were comfortable.

The facility could use some updating and modernizing and the parking situation was a little confusing more clear instruction on where the other parking location is would definitely be a help. The water pressure isn't great.

They double charged even though I prepaid my stay through Booking.com. I have been trying for over a week to get through to someone at the property only to be hung up on, I left messages and received no call back. Terrible service - beware.

Great location, clean, quiet, and safe. The property outside was well lit.

We wish we had a microwave in the room, but other than that. No complaints.

    3LaurenPosted on: 10-8-2024

The breakfast was very minimal: hard boiled eggs, cold cereal, bagels

A more diversified breakfast, a working clothes washer, hallways too noisy from all doors opening and closing, room not inviting and felt like a dorm room.
