Chateau Avalon Hotel & Spa

Location was nice and the hotel was clean.

The room is way smaller than it looks, the jacuzzi is a mountain climb to get it, the mattress is terrible,the fireplace was broken, the elevator went out, and there's tarps all over the roof. Was not the elegant romantic experience we were look for.

The location and property are incredible! The staff is very friendly with exceptional customer service! The Havana room is exactly as pictured!

The robes were not quite as plush as I was expecting, however it was not anything I couldnt work with

Staff seemed a lil offish and wasn't able to order any dinner from hotel or any massages due to no workers was lil upset. I really wanted a rope but was told doesn't sell alone but guess I'll be back I need a nice place to stay once a month see every room

Room had large whirlpool tub big enough for two. Clean comfortable bed.

No separate shower. Have to pay extra for bath salts. Room service doesn't start till 7am. In room coffee maker is not a Keurig machine. No water for coffee maker. No liquid creamer in room.

I adored the bed and bedding - it was incredibly comfortable! The shower was HOT and the towels were super thick and soft. It really was a true "comfort" experience. I look forward to being able to bring my husband next time.

One of the staff was a bit dismissive when I asked a question, which really irritated me. The rest of the staff was very professional and kind.

There was carpet around the tub. Tile would've been better. The room definitely needed an upgrade especially for the price.

The room was great it looked very nice and clean. There was a jacuzzi tub in the room it felt great after a long day of driving. The bed was light floating on a cloud

It was a very charming and unique stay the a/c was broken in the room we booked the staff took care of it immediately and gave us an upgraded room for our troubles. They bent over backwards to ensure we were pleased with our stay.

Bar was not open during our stay. Need a Coffee bar please. Should have water bottles for guest. The drink vending machines were empty.

Staff was very courteous. The room was clean and comfortable. We both enjoyed the Jacuzzi tub and the plush bed.

The massage at the spa was the worst we've had. It was delayed, yet we still paid full price. Then the masseuse seemed tense and rushed during the massage leaving us feeling like we needed a massage to get over our massage.

Hotel staff was amazing. We discovered ants in our room, and brought it to the attention of the staff. We were immediately Very pleased.

There was no iron or ironing board in the room, which we found strange.

Themed rooms

First floor rooms aren't as elaborately decorate as upper floor rooms. Lesson learned on what to book next time.

Breakfast wasn't the best for the price but will def come again! The new layout is so nice!!

Food was over priced and we missed our breakfast delivery by 5 mins and had to wait and hour for mid food.

The hotel is very well located and looks absolutely fabulous. We chose it mainly for its inviting, somewhat European appearance. The hotel offers many amenities, including room service and a large wine selection. The hot tub in the room was an amazing feature and a major selling point for us. We also genuinely enjoyed figuring out how to access the bedroom in the Venetian suite—it felt playful and unique.

Unfortunately, the room itself was very messy. The carpet had not been properly cleaned, and we found a clump of hair under the bed. There was also glitter and small pieces of trash on the floor, especially around the bed. One pillowcase had a blood stain, which we only noticed in the morning. There were also wine stains on the bed. Additionally, one of the bedside lamps didn’t work because there was no electrical socket to plug it into.

Rooms and facility were very outdated. Room was very small. However the wedding venue was very nice.

Very neat experience. Loved the themed rooms. Great romantic hotel! Great location close to Hollywood Casino, since the casino does not have a hotel.

Property is showing signs of age and is in need of updating. Busted up concrete and parking lot. Some themes were a little dated. No smart TV. So unless you want to watch regular TV, it is useless! We couldn’t watch movies or adult content.

The breakfast was great it did come late our first day and causes to be late to our convention. The second day was also very good food and it came on time.
