Pros +
- It is a part of history! The beds were very comfortable. I loved having a kitchen and parlor down the hall. The restoration is beautiful. We also took a tour of the underground tunnels and it was interesting and very well done.
- Staff provide an environment & personal touch that are rare finds in a hotel experience. Beth gave us a personal tour of the hotel to include it's basement & underground, providing the stories of the hotel's history through the years until now.
- Wasn't sure what to expect but it was located "on the way".. The exterior is a little rough, but the inside is fabulous. Look forward to going back and exploring the little town that it is situated in.
Cons -
- No, nothing. I plan to return some day soon & experience the night life in the "Underground" bar downstairs and the Sunday afternoon dinner in their dining room. Shout out to staff - thank you so much. :-)
- Sits right on the highway (literally) so it is a little noisy with vehicle traffic.
- The only recommendation I can make is the shower rod and head need a good dusting. Other than that zero complaints.
