Close enough to Little Nashville
The location to the State Forests is fabulous! Dealing with Jerry via phone was great. He was super.
Unique kind of retro roadside motel.

Cons -

The room was dirty (dirty toilet and could see dirt on the floor); however, I am very easy going and didn't make a big deal out of it. Also, a very intense musty smell present. Came with microwave and mini fridge!!
Rooms are very old and outdated. They have a very musty smell to them. It was clean though! I will say that. There was no actual staff onsite which was worrisome but turns out we didn't need them.
Although I didn't spend much time in the room,cable TV had a very poor signal and no local stations for news and weather.Wifi signal was also weak. Mattress appeared to be old and lumpy and no coffee in the room. There is coffee in the office however.

Somewhat secluded, away from the Nashville, Indiana strip. Comfortable bed. Good shower with hot water. Inside worn, but clean.

More spiders then I have ever seen in a hotel. Not well kept . . . peeling paint, filthy outside porch chairs, next to a vacant lot (the old Little Nashville Opry). I don't understand why this motor lodge is highly rated.
