FairBridge Inn Express Mt Vernon

Hotel was in a great location and very quiet area. In between where I needed it to be.

The room smell like mold and the bathroom had hole in bathroom shower wall. The toilet was not steady and rocked when you sat on it. The towels were old and very noticeably old. Pillows were worn down and very used.

The hotel room is old and sink in it has cracks.

The loud noise from nearby railroad woke me up at 5 am

Absolutely nothing. I found a roach in my first room and after being moved to a room 2 doors down from the original there was yet another roach in my bathroom. The man running the front shrugged and said its not his fault but did nothing to compensate.

Everything, the stay was horrible.

Location to my work

The time the breakfast was served. But that was on me, I had to leave out by 4:30am each day.

The dirty towels were not collected the first day. They did collect them on day 2. The toliet paper was so thin you had to use a wade of it. My socks were dirty on the bottom after walking on the floor.

Easy to get to

The rooms were dirty, one room was infested with spiders and the other room had sheets with old blood stains. The towels looked like they had been used and not washed.

Easy access, well lit and lighting. Clean, bed okay. New renovations.

No elevator, could tell it was old property recently renovated. No air conditioning on in hallways or entrance. Price too high for 1 night.

Check in was quick, presumed owner or operator was nice and helpful

We stayed one night, very friendly people with a great staff. However the neighborhood was very questionable. The room was clean but the rooms need updating and things replaced such as the lamp shades are old and dingy and they look water damaged, the shower has ceiling issues with the tile over head, we were very disappointed with that and afraid to shower in the bathroom. All in All the price was a good value.

Clean very easy to find

Only person there. No amenities

Room was nice Clean had a mini fridge and a microwave the stay was comfy and got the room at a great price next time in town will stay again.

Convenient to family

The only handicapped rooms only had one bed. I was traveling with my father

Location close to town.

No elevator. Toilet was slanted. Located behind car dealership. Expensive for what was provided. Much better amenities for same or less within 20 miles.

The staff, room size, the king bed was so comfortable and pillows. Close to where we were going.

The bathroom door would not close all the way.

No decaffeinated coffee

Strange environment which did not make you feel comfortable staying there.

Room was upstairs with no elevator available. People hanging around the outside of the hotel. No one at front desk at checkout time/metal gate pulled down over counter. Not much to offer for breakfast.
