Comfort Inn Hobart-Merrillville I-65

Nothing. This was probably the worst place I have ever stayed.

I thought this hotel was dangerously unhealthy. Dirty, moldy, soggy carpet, falling ceiling tiles, holes in the walls etc. I would recommend nobody stays here.

hotel employee was trying to rent rooms with no power in the hotel and said she did not know when the manager was coming in she doesn't know his schedule

Bed bugs, pool closed, there was no remote control that worked, I changed room 3 time and neither tv controller worked, I just gave up. And I had to leave at 1am because bed bugs crawled on me. This place is disgusting, inside and out. Nothing good here

Would never book it again

I was in town for a funeral and I couldve stayed at families but booked the hotel for my children to swim and relax. The pool was CLOSED. The breakfast they wouldnt let you bring it to your room or have food deliveries brought to the room.

The room was clean, and everything worked. The bed was nice and comfortable.

Everything was starting to get a bit old...probably time for a renovation. The breakfast could be spruced up--only one kind of juice (cranberry), only two kinds of cereal, etc.

It was dirty. Floor was like a pool of water by a/c unit. Room had strong mold smell. Had to leave and not stay due to the horrible smell.

Most of the staff are friendly and very helpful.

The elevator malfunctioned while on it. Dead roaches in the stairwell. Dead bug on light in bathroom. Air conditioner stopped blowing cold/cool air at night.

The shower was not functional, hotel management sent a text but different offer any solution

Yes, the air vents had mold in them: the front desk moved me to another room but the inconvenience.

Breakfast was decent.

Bedframe loud. Closet door broken & wouldn't close. Hair dryer only blew cold air. Musty odor permeated. Pool was uncomfortably cold. A $60 damage deposit was explained as being a hold. However the charge was processed. Calling it a "hold" is misleading.

I watched an older lady who works/ owns/lives at hotel hitting and slapping a child that appeared to be her grandson. He was very small, probably 5years old or younger.

Big, cozy bed.

Smoke alarms kept going off, noise from other rooms.

I am extremely disappointed with the condition of the bed in my room. The bed in my room has urine stains and smells of urine. I would like to request a refund due to the unsanitary conditions of my current room.

Thr staff was the best. Very nice and professional.

The room smelled like old wet carpet and no one cleaned the room. The floor was not vacuum and the end table and desk was nasty. I will never stay here again.

The workers very friendly and the room comfortable. Nice two night stay.

Only wish our room had at table to sit at. Room had a small table next to the dresser for one person. We had three people in our room. one person had to eat standing up while the other sat at the table and the other sat in the corner chair eating off lap

Security deposit was credited back to my card but then charged again & I was also charged a mystery amount of $62.80. I called the hotel & they don't handle billing there apparently & have not received a response from the email address I was given.

Tht they had a hot tub in the room and that the staff was nice

The hotel room bathroom had a bug in the tub . The hot tub still had chemical stuff in it . The room keys didn¿t work . We kept having to go to the front desk for them to open our room door .

Definitely not 2.5 stars. Pool was drained under repair. pictures placed low on wall in rm. to cover up something? At check out another customer was upset on phone stating there were bedbugs. She had 1 in a bottle. I don¿t know how to get $ back.

The kindness and professionalism of the gentleman with the long hair locks and young lady. Both were impressive and thoughtful. I hope you value and promote them. They are an excellent representation!

Dogs being allowed. I'm petrified of dogs but the gentleman mentioned made me feel safe. He took my fears to heart. Thank you for that... Old hotel but room was clean and bed was very comfy.
