Hampton Inn Corydon

Pool is closed, & there was an inspection of the fire sprinklers/smoke detectors in the room so we had to adjust our plans so that a contractor was not in our room when we were not there.

The location

The bathroom ceiling was falling in making it impossible to take showers. And the beds felt like sleeping on a wood box.

I did not receive the room I paid for. It was supposed to be a King suite with a side adjoining room. The room was a queen bed with a pull out sofa. People should get what they pay for!

They had soft linens.

This is NOT a $--- hotel room, it is a $---- room MAX! Looks like they did cheap upgrades & raised rates like it was completely renovated . Once, I stepped in the room, I felt duped and wanted to leave, but it was midnight & I had driven

Breakfast was really good!!!

Bathrooms needed extra cleaning in shower area. Mold on tile.

Have stayed at this hotel many times. Is convenient to the locations surrounding this area. Has always been clean and comfortable.

Staff was very friendly and helpful - also loved the room set up w/ a separate sofa bed in semi private nook, 2 TV's & large Beverage area with storage. Perfect for 3 people.

Found a very very dirty used toothbrush on the floor next to the bed - hard to miss so have to assume no vacuuming was done and that lead to what else was not done....

All the staff were very pleasant. The manager, made us feel at home. The hot complimentary breakfast was a very nice change to what other places offer.

The only drawback was the bed was too firm and did not make for great sleeping/rest; although, we know we are spoiled with our Sleep Number airbed at home.

Awesome staff and comfortable rooms (especially the bed and pillows), would definitely recommend it to a friend if they are staying in the area.

The room and bathroom was clean and ready when we arrived.

I prefer sinks outside the shower/toilet area.
