Bathroom has mold and rust

I liked how close it is to downtown.

I had two double beds and the comfort was dirty on both be of the beds, the main light didn’t work dominoes stuck using the lamps, the shower head and shower was dingy and full of muck. Pool was closed.

Location to venue was perfect

Smells in lobby and rooms was awful. The bathroom mirrors were dirty and air conditioner didn't work well. Scary experience the night we stayed 10 cop cars surrounded our hotel. We got no information if our safety was at risk. Won't stay again.

The gentleman who was at shift for the night I stayed there had a great customer service experience.

There was too much of a construction going on at the hotel. The rooms are barely okay. Cleanliness is a little better but I wouldn’t give it a 2.5 star rating. It is barely a One Star Motel may be.

They couldn't give me quarters for laundry when had washer/dryers also had a pool was closed and booked because of that

Run down, unprofessional upkeep, cramped. Hard & worn out beds. Poor too-high shower, very poor water pressure and hard to regulate. Smoke alarm defective, kept beeping. Fridge wobbling in cabinet. Cold laminate. On line picture not accurate.

The carpet was wet and felt gritty. Got our socks wet. Too dirty to go barefoot. No overhead light and room was too dark.

Staff was friendly and helpful.

Napkins in the eating area were very low quality. Checkin counter was too high. I am a short person and could not see the staff member behind it. It made the checkin/out process very awkward.

It was outdated. No place to put toiletries or hang towels in tub area. It was hard to know if room was clean because it was a dreary room.

It was an older hotel with outside doors.

The room was competely updated. With everything new and clean, it was a very comfortable stay.

The only access to the rooms upstairs is an outside stairway. It was OK for us, but could be a problem in winter.

Check in at 3pm but check out by 11am ... I get that check in is 3pm but if no one is at the hotel and the room is ready (after 12pm) why not allow an earlier check in? Every hotel we've stayed at allow earlier check in if room is ready after 12pm

Dirty. Think there were bedbugs. I should not have stayed. Can¿t believe you had it at 4 stars!!

Location, location, location. We choose to stay here when we are in Chicago area. Easy access to main roads with a good restaurant next door. The staff is always accommodating and rooms are clean.

No AC and still had to pay for the room at 1100 at night!

The evening clerk mumbled. The room location was unexpected. The bedding was ripped.

Convenience

I think that there are rooms rented as temporary living space. What seemed to be residents in room next to us were sitting outside their room in lawn chairs talking loud we were listening to drunk singing at midnight.
