Hampton Inn Ottawa (Starved Rock Area)

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was cleaner than I expected which was a nice thing. The only reason I didn¿t give it a 10 out of 10 was nothing is ever perfect and the grab bar in the bathroom was not attached at the bottom. I went to gra

The grab bar in the tub/shower was not attached at the bottom.

Clean, comfortable

The bed was very high and difficult for me to get into! Maybe should have asked for a handicapped room. Also, USB ports next to the bed would have been nice.

Needed to be close to mom while she was recovering from heart surgery and had contracted Covid! This hotel met my standards for cleanliness! Bed was very comfy and breakfast to go was great Hotel employee at desk and Housekeeper went above and beyond!! Thankful!

I am a cancer patient and let my medicine in the room, hotel employee and her staff located me and sent it to my house overnight can’t say what a good deed thank them sooo much

Good breakfast Competent staff Attention to details

Perfect no complaints. Excellent breakfast.

That they allow animals.Didnt here the dog but I stay at Hampton's a lot and I have allergies.

Breakfast and staff were awesome!! Very clean and nice hot tub and pool

Very clean. Staff is very friendly! Pool area is nice. Breakfast was good.

Hampton Inn was in a very good location for us. It was clean and the food was good.

I had a reservation for 2 nights and wanted to cancel the second night. They charged me $10 more for the first night to cancel my second. There was a festival in the area so all the rooms were booked solid so I saw no reason for the additional charge.

The location to the highway and state parks.

The hot tub was broken, the ice machine on our floor was broken. The refrigerator in the room was the loudest and cheapest thing you could buy which kept us up all night. We couldn't unplug it or our fruit and beverages would have been warm in the morning.

Design, cleanliness

I wish I was warned the credit card they swiped at the time of checking-in would be charged a deposit fee & returned. This was not mentioned and it over-drafted my account.

It was clean and the staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was well stocked even though there was a large crowd.

Hotel is very clean and well-cared for. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast has good variety and is enjoyable.

Staff was very friendly and hotels was quite quiet. Breakfast ws varied and filling. Indoor pool was a hit with the kids and was very clean. Overall a great experience and a great place to stay.

Mattresses were a little soft and the air conditioner wa very noisy.

The young man who greeted us was so pleasant, he turned my grumpy traveler mood completely around in 5 minutes. The price was very reasonable, very comfortable room, + lots of unexpected amenities: Fruit bowl, cookies, coffee, tea, cocoa, breakfast.

Nicely upgraded hotel. Comfortable beds, clean room, nice swimming pool & hot tub. Hot breakfast in the morning.

Heard a dog for a brief time the first night we were there.

Location to Streator IL.

Convenient to highway

Very accommodating and extra friendly staff.

Very clean!
