Renaissance Chicago North Shore Hotel

Easy check-in and check out, very comfortable bed, clean, friendly staff and only 10 minutes from Ravinia. Stayed only overnight.

The in-room coffee/tea maker area was a little dusty and cream tasted sour so no morning coffee.

Clean room

No internet unless you paid $9.95/day. No pool or microwave. Mismatched furniture. Everything looked old and dated.

Great location

Room is dirty when I checked in staff did not offer me anything else or remedy to the situation. Staff member the front desk was rude at check-in. Took me an hour and a half to find somebody to help me log onto Wi-Fi. Call management three times no help

The room was very pretty and the bed was comfortable

Another guest mentioned that there is no bright light in the room. This is true. Its all low mood lighting. I did bring a flashlight for this reason. I used to to pack and unpack my bags. The light in the bathroom was perfect for getting ready to go out

AC was too loud.

The bathroom with walk in shower and separate wash wand was great! Also the stool was tall and easy to use! That is great for seniors like us!

The decor was cool.

Requested microwave and it was never brought to our room. Unable to access room service at all. Selected on the app no maid service and they still stopped by several times. Unable to find a menu at all for two of the restaurants in the hotel.

Hospitality lie to me at check in I stayed 6 days and I asked that the coffee be replenished, they said certainly But they did not follow thru

Parking lot was filled with pot holes, terrible. At check out the person was not the most personable.

Overall really good but my only you issue was buying a salad from their little market and the dressing was expired. When I asked for a replacement dressing the dressing they gave me was expired again.

The shower head is not high enough for even a barely 6 foot tall person like me! Lobby sometimes way too noisy.

The staff at the hotel is amazing.

Due to Covid the hotel is short staffed and dirty. It¿s hardly a four star hotel. May be it deserves two stars. The restaurant is closed and the parking lot seriously needs to be repaved. You have to dodge the pot holes as you drive through.
