TownePlace Suites by Marriott Chicago Naperville

Surprising great experience. Very nice for the price, clean, well maintained, and GREAT breakfast. We got the 2 bedroom suite-- wow, awesome!

Breakfast is excellent

We ordered a queen suite with a sofa bed. The sofa bed was much more comfortable as just a sofa, but horrible as a sofa bed. There was no cushioning whatsoever.

If the hotel is under construction, smells like mold, everything has water damage. Everything is disgusting. This hotel should not be on any type of listing until the remodel is done. It had nasty water damage and it smells really nasty.

Location

They look like they were doing some remodeling and also it stated that there was a sofa bed. It was more like a boxspring. I don?t know how they expect anyone to sleep on that. They also didn?t have an extra pillow and blanket for the pullout couch

Continental breakfast was very nice. Bed was comfortable and great pillows.

I was there for a total of seven days and never once received housekeeping services. The pullout bed was absolutely disgusting. Stains on mattress and it was so gross.

Staff was very polite, friendly and professional

Hotel was in excellent condition. Room was very clean and comfortable. - I will stay here again when in the area

It was no complaints about anything

Space

Got charged a fee when arriving when I wasn’t supposed to be charged again. But room was not refundable so either I paid or got nothing. Also found hairs in the showers.

The rooms were nice and obviously being remodeled. But the entire building was under renovation which made it quite uncomfortable. There was saw dust everywhere, machines and cords left in the hallways. The front desk was a folding table next to what looks like would’ve been the receiving area; completed gutted from ceiling to floor.

The renovating… I had no issue with this, but inform visitors before committing and paying their money. I arrived from another state and had no idea!

Spacious rooms, great location, great price. My room was the perfect size. Loved it!

Breakfast was mediocre

There was no pool and the description stated it was not available in 2015....its 2024. No one told us. We could not tell anyone of our issues because there was no one around a lot. There was no one even around at checkout. We only saw someone at check in.

Communication about room cleaning was vague.

I was skeptical at first because of its location. I was pleased by the professionalism of the staff and the cleanliness of the facility from the lobby, hallways and my room.

Facilities were very good. Claire, who checked me in, was a breath of fresh air at the end of a hard day. She was warm, engaging and very competent. She is special.

I absolutely loved that I reserved a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom too. We had my boyfriends 15 year old with us so privacy was super important. Breakfast was really good. Overall. Very nice, quiet hotel that I would recommend to anyone.

To have a full refrigerator as well as basic dishes was super helpful throughout the stay.

The pillows were not supportive and the pullout bed was extremely uncomfortable even for the kids.

BREAKFAST WAS GOOD AND FAST SO WE COULD START OUR DAY VACATIONING

SMOKE ALARMS WENT OFF 2 DAYS IN A ROW IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT MAKING US GET DRESSED AND LEAVE OUR ROOM AT 130 IN THE MORNING FOR NOTHING. (SENSITIVE ALARM AS WE WERE TOLD) TVS HAD TO BE UNPLUGGED AND REPLUGGED IN ORDER TO USE (STAFF ADVISED ME TO DO THIS) WHEN MOVING THE TV TO UNPLUG FOUND TV WAS STUCK TO THE COUNTER BY OLD FOOD, SOFA BED MATTRESS WAS FULL OF HAIR AND CRUMBS, UNDER THE COUCH WAS DIRTY
