Comfort Suites Mattoon East

The pool and hot tub were great. The breakfast had a lot of choices.

The elevator was constantly out of order.

Nice big clean room. Microwave and small fridge.

Would prefer the phone be on the desk and not on the nightstand. The breakfast was okay.

Call desk staff, called to request early check in due to restless kid who was throwing tantrums due to no sleep, was told not possible until 3 and lady at the front desk hung up on me

The hotel and staff itself was fine. The city where it is located in (Mattoon) was the problem. At the time I stay, city's water supply was contaminated with poisonous algi where using the water was not recommended. Felt like I was stuck in hell.

The hotel could have called their guests who had reservations & warned them about the water contamination issue which would gave given me the option to stay somewhere else where I could eat, drink the water, bathe. Places to eat near hotel was closed.

The elevator did not i did not k ow this in advance and the pool was not usable. The carpet in the room was filthy, looked like black oil on it. Was all over the baby's legs and hands

HOT TUB WAS NOT WORKING, LOW WATER PRESSURE IN SHOWER

The staff were extremely nice and the breakfast was good. The King Suite with separate living room space was so nice. The bed was comfy and loads of pillows.

Only issue was a loud hum in the living room area which extended in the hall. Seemed to only be in one area of hotel. The hum was not audible from the other end of the hall.

The elevator was out of order and we were on the 3rd floor. We were not told ahead of time. Luckily we are capable of going up and down stairs. This should be listed online so people are aware. Apparently it¿s been out of order for several months.

hotel is under cpnstruction. elevator is closed. pool area closed. all exits closed. you can only exit thru front door.

Great location and fairly large size room!

The elevator didn't work because of a lightening storm and the room was a little dark.

Location, breakfast till 10am, staff. Nice hallways, new carpets and beautiful stained doors.

They need new softer pillows. Not pet friendly.

Loved the convenience of its location. It was quiet and also liked the room and bedding.

location was nice. the room was pretty clean as well. i did appreciate that we were given 4 pillows on the bed.

The only think that was negative was the bed. The bed was actually terrible. it was very broken down and hard.

The staff was friendly & helpful. The pool & hot tub were in working order. Our room was quiet, clean, & comfortable.

The breakfast was not that great but it WAS included so really cant complain.

Great location.

A little dirty. Heater "clicked" when it turned on.

Great friendly staff, very clean rooms (with plenty of in-room coffee) and a great complimentary breakfast with freshly made food and plenty of variety. We will try to make a point of staying here again.
