There was a peculiar, overpowering odor. Our first room especially smelled horrible, like urine. I spoke with the desk clerk/manager, and he took us to a 2nd floor room and gave me the opportunity to inspect several rooms and choose one to switch to.

Staff was amazing and accomidating. We had an incident happen with our eldest child where he was sick, staff understood the situation and was able to relocate us to a new room without issues. Overall experiance was great, staff made it much better.

Restaurant was a hidden gem. Although almost empty. Very good walleye and Indian veggie dish. Breakfast was so so.

Staff was amazing and accomidating. We had an incident happen with our eldest child where he was sick, staff understood the situation and was able to relocate us to a new room without issues. Overall experiance was great, staff made it much better.

The hotel was full of history and class that you do not see at the newer chain hotels.
