Pros +
- Restaurant was a hidden gem. Although almost empty. Very good walleye and Indian veggie dish. Breakfast was so so.
- Staff was amazing and accomidating. We had an incident happen with our eldest child where he was sick, staff understood the situation and was able to relocate us to a new room without issues. Overall experiance was great, staff made it much better.
- The hotel was full of history and class that you do not see at the newer chain hotels.
Cons -
- Some rooms do have age but thats understandable. First room, the door mechanisim didn't work properly and didnt allow entry, our final room we moved to, Heating unit was blowing cool air instead of heat, even set to 80+ degrees, wasn't a deal breaker.
- Location was a little ways off of the interstate highways but, hey, that's oaky!
- Pool area wasn?t clean at all.
