Sleep Inn Decatur I-72

The hotel was very shortstaffed however, the manager did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable

Due to the lack of staff, the rooms and hallways were not up to my cleanliness standards

the desk was very helpful.

Furniture in the room has exceeded it's intended lifespan. Also, I booked this hotel for the relaxing hot tub. It was not operational, and was not advertised as such.

Having other people staying there at the same time.

The room had snow in it from a window from previous guest. The couch had stains on it and appeared extremely dirty, the floor was coming up. The odor.Workers were not friendly. No breakfast as promised. Pool area had to wear coat. While watching kids swim

I would have enjoy breakfast but there was only eggs and biscuits and gravy 😞 as a hot breakfast

Nothing at all!

No working Tv, bathroom was backing up with a bad smell. I told the first desk lady Sherry who claims she was GM! And kicked me out because I had to many issues! God forbid you move me rooms with a bit of hospitality for a guest who just paid --- dollars.

Hot tub did not work Tv in exercise room did not work No one was at front desk when I wanted to talk with them There was a lot of trash in the yard

Good price and good location for me right off the interstate. Couple small esthetic issues but would stay again

Lobby looked nicer than the rooms. Room had some peeling paint in areas. Looked like it had water damage at some point.

There really isn't anything I liked about my stay at this hotel. It was a place to sleep at the end of the day.

I was not informed that the pool would be closed. I asked for a discount but was told, "no discounts are given under new management." Didn't have syrup for pancakes and told me to use hot honey "spicy honey" for my kids pancakes. Staff didn't care.

It was quiet no crqziness

Found a bug in my room not sure what it was but it was bigger than a roach, my room didnt have a towel rack because it was broken and no hair dryer because it was not functioning. Room was Ice cold when got in and the keycard kept locking me out.

Hot tub was broken. They had to change my room 3 times. First the bathroom door was broken and second the room had one bed. The third the smoke detector was sitting on the tv stand. Needs better maint checks and walk thru before assigning a room.

It met my expectations for the star level of the motel. Room was clean. Bed was satisfactory. Air conditioning unit for our room was a bit noisy and made it a challenge to fall asleep. Breakfast was as expected for this property.

Staff was friendly and helpful

Breakfast was subpar. Overall the hotel needs an upgrade, worn out appearance.

The room wasn¿t clean, the staff were rude and acted like I was a burden on them when checking in, and there was no breakfast like the site stated, and the pool wasn¿t open

The staff was rude, we called ahead of time to make sure or rooms were booked lady had an attitude, very rude. I called up there to make sure we had the four rooms we booked. Right off the bat she was very rude to me. Talking over me , being very rude.

My room was not clean. I could smell cigarettes the whole time. People were screaming and yelling across the hall until 4:00 AM.

Checkout was on the later side at 12PM. That was the only plus.

The sheets/blankets were stained and dirty. The toilet paper holder fell out of the wall. The staff was pushy and rude. The breakfast was less than stellar, but it was "free". The star rating of this hotel was wrong. I wouldn't have booked if I had known.

Location

The receptionist certainly did not give much reception. No greeting whatsoever. I just played"fill in the blanks" for her. Her greeting was ,"ID?". That was it! Had to go back to ask if there was a wiFi access password...after logging into unsafe site.

Great hotel. Clean and easy to get to.

No everything was great except the breakfast. It was a little messy

The hotel had an open pool and breakfast. Rooms were clean. Good value for the price.

Doors were difficult to open, getting into the pool door was next to impossible, there was a blonde desk clerk that seemed to hate her job and took it out on the customers, Smelled like marijuana continually
