The character of the building. It takes me back in time yet has comforts of modern day.

Shower stall grout needed to be cleaned.

Great spot! The 3:15 was amazing! (Loved the beet salad!) Great selection/Tapas were fun to share. The location was great for getting around on foot. 'Whoops' a couple blocks away was great for lunch and treats. Tubbs Hill trails & views were wonderful.

Loved everything! But if you're staying on the 3rd floor and decide to get your groove on, please remember we on the 2nd floor can hear everything, and I will giggle like a hyena.

That it was walking distance from the lake and shopping local. The dining room environment.

It needs to be updated a bit. Pillows, Shower Curtain, Hot and Cold water in the shower changing randomly. A hit of more modern would be more inviting.

    Great location, nice breakfast

Shower hot water very inconsistent, no tissues in room, loud at night from restaurant. Phone reception was spotty in room for some reason.

The location was very close to the lake, shopping, and other good locations. All the guests and people eating at the restaurant were very nice. Staff was very nice, but were hard to find. Bedding and linens were clean.

Staff slow to check us in and come for breakfast. Parts of the room were not very clean, esp. the kitchen area. Room was hot even with a small A/C unit in the window. Bed was noisy and uncomfortable. Bathroom was not in the room, but across the hall.

Beautiful heritage building, nicely renovated but still retains its charm. Well appointed with lovely antique furniture. Adjoining restaurant served delicious tapas. Great location with a short walk to the beach and McEwen Park. Would definitely return

I didn’t know that our bathroom would be across the hall. We ran out of toilet paper and there wasn’t an extra one in the bathroom or the hall closet. The room inclusded a full breakfast but you didn’t have a choice of what to eat.

Lovely and personable hotel with modern conveniences while maintaining character and charm from another era. The restaurant is delicious with meals created from scratch and live music in the evenings. Fantastic dinner & *free* sit-down homemade breakfast!

This was a very nice Bed and Breakfast. Great room with a claw foot tub in the bathroom. Two common lounges with kitchens, cookies and treats for guests. Restaurant and full bar attached. Free homemade and delicious breakfast. Great walking location.

It is advertised that parking is included but actually is on the street first come, first gets it.

    4MaureenPosted on: 8-5-2015

Location, great restaurant, helpful and friendly bar/restaurant staff, character building, nice atmosphere.Quiet. Safe on-street parking.

Breakfast! Selection was good but quality was poor. Pastries were stale and, if not eaten, were provided for the next day. Muesli was not always replenished and we had to ask for milk every day.Caliber of the breakfast was not consistent with the price

It's a beautiful old home with antiques which is a great change from the usual hotels. The staff is not available at all times, so you are on your own after signing in. But that was fine and we had a great breakfast provided every day.

    9JeremyPosted on: 7-15-2015

Location, breakfast, and internet were all pretty good.

The B&B atmosphere is certainly different from generic hotels. The feel is a little ackward for someone not used to the smaller personal atmosphere.

    10Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 5-28-2015

Great location, beautiful old building cleverly configured for duty as a B and B. Downtown water front is an easy walk and there are many restaurants and bars/pubs along the way.Be sure to check out the 3:15 Tapas. Yum.

We were on the third floor and it was warm, and the window a/c unit had not been installed. Friendly staffer came up with a fan, and it was all good.

    10CraigPosted on: 8-26-2023

Love everything about this hotel. Convenient location to downtown. Great on-site restaurant.

Our room # 4 was perfect and just what we were looking for. The food was delicious.
