Maui Kai Condos - No Resort Fees

Great location, clean and a great value.

The pool is rather basic but adequate.

The view of the sunset is unbeatable. Great beaches with excellent snorkeling just a few minutes walk from your room. The pool and hot tub are available for when you need a break from the sand. Minutes away from Lahaina. Definitely would stay here again.

Right on the ocean. Front the lanai, sitting on the high chairs and tables provided, we could look straight into the ocean. We saw turtles, dolphins, fish, eels and of course, interesting people snorkeling or lazing. Waves crash on wall 20ft from blg.

Don't expect sparkly chain hotel style. Dated but clean. Elevator works well and Covid-19 precautions advertised. Bedding was excellent, but Murphy bed springy and not good for your back. Not necessary to have Murphy bed as space is adequate for couple.

The view, definitely. All rooms have exclusive ocean view towards Lanai and Molokai.

Staff seems unavailable for the most part of the day. Bedding is kinda old and can benefit from an upgrade.

Having the fully equipped kitchen is a big plus. We like to cook some of our own meals. Beautiful view from the lanai. And our unit was screened in.

Paid for outside balcony online and when arriving did not get what I paid for and was told I can up grade for $80 more a night ???

The location was perfect. The balcony had an incredible view of the ocean, and there were nice spots to grab food nearby. The kitchen had all the basics which would have been nice if I felt like cooking. Mattress was comfortable, and the AC worked when I needed it. Bathroom was very clean.

The bedding could be updated. The bedspread was a little stiff, thin. And the pillows weren’t awesome.

The bonus lanai on the side was excellent for stargazing!

The neighbor was unacceptably nosy. He shined his phone's flashlight (maybe videoing us?) into our lanai on the first night we were staying there.

The Fan is over the table and not the bed, which made it pretty warm at night after a day on thebeach. . It wasn't very cool in the room at any time of day and I believe the AC was set at 73.The Grates on the door entering the room were filthy. Looked like they hadn't been cleaned or painted in a very long time. Both doors to the balcony were extremely difficult to open, every time. The Screens to the balcony came off the track several time and were ripped.The vents over the toilets had mold or some kid of small bugs on them.

The location itself doesn't have breakfast but the hotel next door did and it was very god. Also, there is at least one restaurant within easy walking distance. The location right on the water, overlooking the channel is why we try to choose Maui Kai. We saw many whales.

It would be nice if there was an ice machine. Other than that, all was great !

The view from the balcony was amazing. Property is directly on the shoreline. Lots of sea turtles and whales wherever you looked. The studio room was very roomy and comfortable.

The view from our Junior Suite unit was incredible. Perfect sunset views over the ocean and we spotted a number of whales while sitting on the lanai.

The building itself is a bit dated and the pool isn't much but we didn't need it with the great location right on the beach.

1. The View from balcony is amazing, all the rooms are ocean facing. We saw many whales and turtles from our patio.2. Rooms are very spacious with all the kitchen fittings. 3. Location of the condos are perfect. Close to many supermarket and decent restaurants.

Some of the staff members were not polite and lacked professionalism in handling management issues. During our stay, we had to switch rooms for some reason and were assured assistance with the process. However, no help was provided, and we were not even reminded about the room switch on the scheduled day. Fortunately, we hadn’t left early that morning, or the situation could have been more inconvenient.
