Club Wyndham Kona is an authentic resort designed in the style of an 1880's Hawaiian village. Palm thatched roofs, rustic bungalows and paths lie amid flower and fruit bearing trees, palms and tropical vegetation. It is an easy walk or drive to Kailua-Kona Village, ocean activities and exciting night life. The units offer a living room with a flat-screen TV, a dining area with chairs and a table, as well as a fully equipped kitchen. In-unit laundry facilities are also available. The resort offers two outdoor swimming pools with a children's pool, a picnic area with BBQ facilities, two outdoor hot tubs, and a fitness area with exercise equipment. Keauhou Shopping Center is 1 mi from Hotel Kona Hawaiian Hotel, while Hulihee Palace is 1.1 mi away. Kona International Airport is 8.7 mi from the property.

A damage deposit of USD 250 is required on arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed within 14 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property. We will begin renovation of our suites starting July 1st, 2024 and is anticipated to end in October 2025. - Fast check-in, pleasant staff, great room!
- The activities coordinator Joy was such a blast. She made everything very fun and easy to understand. Was even learned for to make an orchid lei from her.
- Location was great, size of the room was great
Cons -
- Our room was not ready when we checked-in. We had to wait for almost an hour before we could, which put a little set back in our plans for the evening. But.?we were able to check out an hour later than we were supposed to.
- When it rains and the big ants come in, they are everywhere and it was not good. But the hotel did give bug spray so it was better. But still not cool.
- I don't like that they call themselves a resort but don't offer a resort experience. They basically offer apartments and a pool/hot tub. They have minimal activities that aren't at convenient times, no restaurants or anything on site
