Hyatt Place Waikiki Beach

It was close to the beach and many of the tour pick-up spots. Rooms were clean.

The elevator was slow. There is no parking unless you are lucky enough to get their vallet parking. Which cost $55 a day. They did not serve continental breakfast. There were 3 day they only served Jimmy Dean sandwiches, all with cheese. Many people don't like cheese. There was no option for them.

Nice decent location and good service.

There are only two lifts and one has not been working for some time. The service staff also have to use the one remaining lift. Management could do better I feel.

Very busy, family oriented, lots of kids. Housekeepers left me a card saying they had to come into my room for “safety” once a day. I was working and resting, not on vacation, didn’t go out much and didn’t want to be bothered. Breakfast felt chaotic to me so I never went

Great location, kind staff, clean and beautiful rooms! We really enjoyed our stay and most things about the hotel!

Most things were awesome, but there are a few areas that could use improvement. The biggest downfall at this hotel was the breakfast. We paid extra to include breakfast every morning, and it was a huge let down. Rubbery sausages, stale coffee, cold eggs and all around just very disappointing. The bathroom sink and bathroom area was quite small, and the counter space to get ready was limited. The lighting also wasn’t great in the bathroom area, making it a bit hard to get ready at night.

Room was big and beds were comfortable

The pool is small and location of the breakfast was a small area and loud! Too many birds Also the “beach chairs” they offer are actually camping chairs and not good at all for being on the sandy beaches and trying to lay in the sun. Also VERY slow elevators! The staff was always so friendly though!

Room was large, and the bed was very comfortable. The location was also perfect for us. We like to stay on the east end of Waikiki— Close to family we have living there, but also less crowded It’s a block off the main strip, which is good.

Even on the 11th floor, we heard traffic noise. The elevators take forever so we ended up walking up 11 floors as 25 people gathered by the elevator and we knew we were either going to jam in or have to wait for another one.

Would have appreciated some non dairy milk and spreads at breakfast. Perhaps had I raised this before our trip this could’ve been provided

The rooms were very spacious and very clean. The breakfast was also very good. There was a variety of foods to choose from. I loved the area of the hotel. It was walkable and very close to the beach.
