Western Inn Marietta

The best thing about this traumatic time was me and my unwavering decorum in the midst of what would become one of the most embarrassing, unsafe spaces I have encountered.

The drunken clerk that was obviously drunk and boldy belligerent spawned an unsafe, unprofessional establishment chalked full of disrespect. I was called out my name. I was lied to, threatened. Unfortunately this was just the start of many upsets.

Nothing. I have already sent a complaint. It was a very disappointing experience.

Location was easy to get on and off I75. Staff were very nice

Very dated motel. Bed made a very loud sound like a metal air duct buckling or something every time you sat on it to lay down. Bed sheet had cigarette burn holes….Very noisy with loud people, music, talking. Finally gave up and left at 4 AM.

The staff was cooperative and treat customers with respect. The facility was good for the value. Neat and clean rooms.

The staff was accommodating and make the stay very convenient.

Staff was super friendly but my pillow smelled like mens cologne so the cleaners are not doing a great job of changing pillow cases so take ur pillow plus my room was smoke free but smelled like smoke

I like that the property is close to the baseball park

What I didnt like about the property is that theres drugs, shady people, and recently there was shooting in this location. Be aware and careful. Cops dont even patrol this area until report has happened not even a Police sueveillance camera posted so be aware of your surroundings

The hotel was at convenient location. The premises were kept clean. There was a crew staff cleaning the parking lot when I arrive. The room was tidy with clean towels, pillow covers and bedsheet. The staff was friendly and accommodating. When I requested they supplies the iron to iron cloths. Overall, it was a good value for my stay.

The people sitting outside in the parking lot at the next door hotel make me uncomfortable.

The staff and facilities were awesome. Very friendly and an easy check-in. And let me tell you about them pillows! They were the MOST COMFORTABLE pillows I’ve ever slept on. I’m now searching for some similar to use at home! Don’t let the outside and location fool you - the room is a very clean and nice.

There are a lot of homeless folks that are hanging around outside. They didn’t bother us, and seemed to be having a good time grilling out, but it made us nervous to leave the car parked while we went to the concert.

Value, Cleanliness, friendly staff.

The Hotel next to this location has questionable people.

The hotel staff was exceptional and care about customer’s comfort.

The adjacent hotel (Budgetal Inn) brings questionable traffic. There are people standing on the streets, just making the entire environment depressing.

Find another place to stay

Properties located straight in the hood, broken down cars in the parking lot, trash all throughout the parking lot blood on the wall in the bedroom, needle caps on the ground dirty rags still from the previous occupant or still in the shower, stayed literally one hour and left was not a safe if environment was not clean and will not ever stay back again

The person at the front desk tried to help us get a room that was non-smoking. We did have to wait an hour, but she was pleasant and seemed to be trying to hurry up the cleaning staff. The room we finally got still smelled of something and the bedspreads had stains and burn holes. But, she was friendly and apologetic.

Location was TERRIBLE!!! Drunks and drug users wandering around. People propositioning my kid. Suspected prostitution. This place was scary.

it was close enough to the stadium to walk to the game. room was clean, and pet friendly. there was some nice landscaping around the building.

could not contact the property directly either by phone or email prior to our stay. there were a lot of people hanging out in the parking lot late at night, making it uncomfortable to walk our dogs.

The staff that served me was professional and my stay was cheaper than what I thought it would be. All the furniture was in good shape. There was ample towels and soap. Restroom was clean.

The room smelled like cigarette smoke. There was what looked like shaving lotion hanging over the light fight fixture than also ran down the light fixture. it was not clean behind the night stand.

The bed was comfortable. The distance to the ballpark was good.

The towels had stains and holes. The fitted sheet was half on the bed. The shower didn't work. The shower handle fell off while trying to get the water temperature suitable, which never happened. The $116.00 for one night was ridiculous since the normal rate is $65.

The older gentleman who manages the office, answers the phone, and does check-in's/outs was very pleasant to chat with.

When I asked about all the shady characters loitering around the parking lot and adjacent convenience store, he said the Marietta police arrest them, they spend one night in jail, then are back the next day.Every time I left the hotel, a panhandler tried to hit me up for some cash.The hotel manager added that the area has gone downhill since Tuist Park opened in 2017 with a lot more homeless and more crime.The building was in bad shape, and the rooms were not well maintained or cleaned properly.As far as comfort is concerned, I was afraid to walk on the tile floor with bare feet and the pillows and bed linens, although fairly clean, were cheap, lumpy, threadbare and need to be replaced.
