The distance from where I was going was perfect.
The front desk clerk urged me to look at the room first - should have been my clue that this was not the hotel for an older woman traveling alone.

Cons -

The dirtiest place I have ever been.
Hotel was run down. The room reeked of cigarette smoke. The bathroom was dirty and the top of thr tub had urine all around it.
The guy in the lobby who was counting his large stash of cash probably didn't want me to stay as I wasn't going to be a customer. But he was very polite and friendly! The customer who told me I was pretty and asked if I was married was also very pleasant.
