Pros +
- location and ease of access
- Nice room - plenty of space. Well located to walking around Hartwell.
- Location to and from fire station
Cons -
- The mattress could have been better. It was too soft.
- The room description said there was a terrace, but there didn't appear to be one. There was a door with a big sign that said "do not open, alarm will sound" so we didn't open it. Perhaps that is where the terrace was? Someone else's leftovers were in the fridge when we checked in.
- I picked a room with terrace and there was no terrace..or kitchen

I loved the location in downtown Hartwell. Restaurants and coffee shops within a block or two. It was a neat little hotel, clearly converted from an old downtown office building, with exposed brick walls and lots of character. Bed was very comfortable. Workstation was nice to have too. Shower was good—very clean with good water pressure. The later checkout time turned out to be very convenient for me, and it was appreciated!
My room’s thermostat control was not functioning. Not sure if it was batteries or something else, but I couldn’t control the temp. Also, I would feel more secure if the outer door also locked. Some rugs would make it feel more homey. Finally, I didn’t realize my room was windowless. Wasn’t awful, but would have been nice to know.
Downtown is outside your door
Very friendly and great room.
Clean and convenient!
Maybe a little pricey
The property was so convenient to the historic downtown district. It was also close to several restaurants.
