Best Western Augusta West

They put a scam on me, Making a reservation 62 days in advance, prepaid $93, and after 11 hours of driving to get there, they claimed I didn't have a reservation, at 8:30 pm on a Saturday night.

The staff, especially the lady who checked us in, was very accommodating and helpful.

The view from the window was horrible but not the hotels fault.

The location is extremely convenient for my work.

The air conditioning in my room did not work. The room had a wet musty smell to it that never went away during my stay. The moisture in the room made any cloth material like the bedding and my clothes feel damp. Extremely disappointed in this hotel.

I traveled to many hotels at least 2 times per month. But I never have a feeling Ike this at night. I usually can sleep through the night but around 5AM woke up to feel like something in the room. The next morning my boyfriend said the same thing.

ROACH INFESTED staff are aware which means management are aware yet they are very nonchalant about it. This place is not fit for human habitation.

It was close to restuarants and pretty quiet.

I didnt like the check out time and some of the staff was rude.

The room was clean and there was plenty of space.

The breakfast had multiple concerns. No spoons for cereal, the toaster was set to burn the toast, and there was not a variety of foods to choose from.

Check-in time is at 3 pm. Need to upgrade smaller TVs to 55 inches. My strained look at the 32-inch tv in my room.

Breakfast was timely and good for the basic.

May room did not have a chair for the desk in the room. I asked for a chair but never received it. I had to used the coffee table and a cushion from the sofa.

Overall quite and room was clean.

Location of ice machines in proximity to rooms¿people in rooms are disturbed by the ice machine users all day and all night.

Staff was very friendly. Room seemed clean, bed was comfortable. All linens in room seemed geared towards being easily washed which makes you feel as though they do make a lot of effort in keeping everything clean and washed.

Hotel in general seemed very dated and could use upgrading. Common areas could have been cleaner. TV in room was small and only option was basic cable with a scrolling menu that only pops up upon turning on TV.
