TV poor ac didn't work well

Definitely a hidden gem. Clean rooms, landscape and pool.

Didn’t get to use the great pool as the gate was locked with pool closed sign. It wasn’t closed at all. They just don’t use any gate but the one near office.

This is our second stay at Merry Acres and it was just as pleasant as the first. This place is a gem - a charming old style motel with clean rooms and comfortable beds. The Pub on property is a great feature with excellent cocktails and friendly staff.

I loved my room. It was cozy and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was quiet and peaceful.

My room was next to the event center and the garbage truck woke me up in the middle of the night on my first night there. I was also disappointed that the pool was closed during my stay, but I was able to sit by the pool, read and get some sun.

House keeping was on point , the staff were very polite and the location was perfect.

Great stay, nice staff, clean room, conveniently located. All I could ask for.

Older hotel so nothing is really updated but it does the job

This is an older establishment but well maintained and the staff is super helpful and friendly.

Location was great. Parking outside was just outside the door.

It lacked cleanliness and attention to detail. There was hair on clean sink. The bed squeaked terribly and sank when we got into it. We were so exhausted we slept ok despite the mattress.

Staff was extremely courteous and helpful. Location is also great.

Appearance from the outside, some of the room doors needs touch up paint.

Quietness-- good location to the church; outstanding breakfast buffet. good hot shower.

It was near family I was visiting and I have stayed here before and enjoyed it.

our room was not made up (bed) and we ran out of toiler paper and had to go to office to get some more.

The employees were wonderful and very attentive to any questions or needs. Did not expect a full breakfast bar, it was awesome!

Not really a dislike. It's old buildings, but updated well.

The people were cordial.

In our room there was chipped paint, hand prints on the wall in the bathroom and hair in the corners. The tub spigot almost twisted off when I tried to pull the shower changer to switch the water. The room too expensive for such a run down neighborhood.

No. Not a thing.

Has a nice little bar and a great breakfast...which was free! Quite surprised by how good the grits were. My wife actually complemented the bed due to waking up and her back not hurting.

Rooms are kind of small, but that's minor if all you are doing is sleeping. Oh, and my friend had to sit sideways on the toilet due to there being little to no room between the toilet and the wall in front of it. Small stuff really.
