Marriott Hutchinson Island Resort & Beach Villas, Golf & Marina

I liked the view from the room, the room issued was spacious and clean. Loved the convenient parking.

The hotel seems a little outdated and the property has a lot of rust damage I guess from the ocean air.

Location

The room had roaches, the carpeting was stained, and the AC unit was very loud. Additionally, the breakfast at the restaurant was over-priced.

THe services, having the beach and gym and pickleball and pool was a plus

Yes, they did not have enough umbrellas at the beach for the guests to use. The pool that was supposed to be heated, was not and the fitness room could be better. Also we were charged a resort fee that was unexpected.

Renovation completed and very nice.

Formerly had bicycles available to guests and got rid of them. A negative surprise.

The pool area was inviting and although there were rooms surrounding it, didn?t seem like we were on display. The linens and the room smelled fresh and clean.The setup with the shelves/ bars for clothes/ towels and the detachable shower heads were A+

No microwave. The bathroom was pretty small with an older-school tub.

Well, it was under construction, and I was not aware of this, I didn't have a washcloth in my room. had to go down stairs to get one, No snack machines and I got there at 10:25pm.

Location and service

I stayed on the 4th floor in the smelled a little bit of mildew like at one point that might have been water leaked

The location was perfect for our vacation however the pool was closed and not disclosed on the hotels description as having a pool onsite. It was very hot and the pool and beach were the amenities we booked the property.

The pool being closed for 2 days was a major disappointment. When I called I was told we could drive over a mile to a pool at different location on the property but that was not convenient if you wanted to enjoy alcoholic beverages. It was very upsetting.

Water front

The web site stated the hotel had been renovated. When we arrived we were informed the renovations were in progress. Our room needed updating and the sliding glass door was very difficult to open.

Hotel employee at the front desk was so nice and she helped us extend our stay with no delay or room transfers! Also page was great! She was so personable and pleasant!

The pool area was nice, and we liked that our balcony provided scenery and privacy at the same time.

The bed bugs! By the time we drove home, mu husband and I were both covered in itchy red bumps.

Couldn¿t enjoy balcony right outside of pool area literally a few steps away nothing bout the hotel just need a higher floor next time !!

We booked an ocean view and was put into a room with a very obstructed view. They moved us to a better view when i called an complained. The housekeeper walked in on us without knocking the next morning.

very poorly maintained,roof leaked they moved us but a lot of things did not work including elevator closest to us,not enough luggage carts

The rooms were clean. Golf course side was quiet. The hotel was just okay. Seems like an older hotel that they are trying to modernize. I would not stay at this property again.

Photos of the hotel show it as on the beach. This property is not on the beach! A shuttle from hotel takes you to beach 2 miles up the road but beach not within walking distance. One elevator was out of order when we got there.

The access to every pool on the property was the highlight for our trip. The staff was nice enough to personally deliver pool towels.

The rooms located at Sandpiper are much nicer.

Nothing wasted of money

The staff unprofessional. The pool was missing Clorox and water was yellow. The roof is coming apart. Green areas were unattended. The staff at the bar unprofessional. Not to mention the menu was poor. Worse placed ever. I even took pictures is sad

Location

Rooms are dated, beach is far from main property, they are ridiculously stingy with towels and resort fee does not include beach chairs or umbrella. Pools are small. Very unremarkable.

Not a thing

Dirty , poor hygiene , mold in bathroom shower , hanging shelf in bathroom shower , tv didn¿t work , no remote , coffe machine didn¿t work , terrible management staff , unaccommodating, terrible experience . Will never go back
