Beachcomber Beach Resort & Hotel

The rooms were junior suites and you could tell they were recently renovated due the the two hurricanes they has a few years ago.

The first impression was the Lobby and it was really old looking. The furniture was terrible and the could painted it with a better color and hung some nice pictures. Very Undesirable and old looking

The mattress was old and rock hard. It was the most uncomfortable mattress I ever slept on. The TV’s weren’t smart TV’s so no Netflix or Hulu. The couches were from the 1980’s. It was a horrible experience staying here!

The location can’t be beat. The nightly entertainment is very good.

As a resort with entertainment, it can be noisier at night, but it didn’t bother me.

Location, clean room, comfortable bed

Did not care for food. Limited menu with no GF options.

The front desk staff was wonderful. We enjoyed our stay and the staff at the front desk explained everything perfectly. We stayed an extra night since we had so much fun.

It is directly on the beach and had live music in the restaurant most of our stay.

The restaurant had a hard time getting the orders right.

No elevator no hot tub

Hotel had items left over from previous person that stayed in the room. There were stains on the sofas , one of the tvs didn¿t work, the pull out sofas were broken I didn¿t get to sleep at all. There were no other rooms to move us to. There was no live

The location is great especially because there is Jimmy B's and Coconut Charlies our on the beach! Bothe really good venues!

The sleeper sofas in the room are not very comfortable! The bed needs replacement as well! Staff was friendly and accomodating. Getting food can be a struggle at the bar!

Needs updating! New privacy curtains and blackout curtains! Shades were DISGUSTING!! New lights! Could not see in the room Get rid of shelf over sink! 100% in the way! New bright clean paint job!

Location and onsite restaurant/bar were very nice. Staff was very friendly.

The room layout of the junior suite was perfect for our family of 4 with a teen and preteen (king plus 2 pull out sleeper sofas). We loved all the sitting areas throughout the grounds.

The walls are thin. The couple next door argued 2 of the 4 days we were there. We heard everything. The people upstairs sounded like a heard of elephants.

It's close to the beach and Jimmy B's. The rooms have been updated, especially the shower.

1) Room was never cleaned. 2) Vents in room (and main lobby) were filthy. 3) Shade in room malfunctioned. 4)Toilet didn't have a seat cover. 5) Entrance doors to rooms resembled something out of a housing project. This is a 2-star hotel.

The location and easy access to beach

I did not like that the bar is open to all, not just hotel guests, the pool was REALLY dirty, the views from hotel were overlooking the dumpsters, it was not family friendly, and the rooms were painted a dark green which is DEPRESSING!

The location is definitely the best! Walk down a board walk to the beach. Enjoy nightlife on site with live bands, great food and drinks. Nice pools. Staff was awesome! The manager was very nice and helpful with suggestions.

Rooms are updated but could use a better Ac in some. Bathroom could be a litter better lighting but that¿s being very particular.

Place is understaffed so made it difficult getting food and drinks. Staff was overheated and overworked so they were not very friendly

Tropical feeling in the courtyard, easy access to beach, on-site restaurant, really friendly desk and maintenance staff

It was party central for all of St. Pete's Beach with outdoor live music nightly until 1am. Unfortunately there was a domestic disturbance outside of my door at 2am one night and no one at the front desk to answer my calls. Parking was also difficult.

The renovated room was clean and comfortable.

The construction going on reduced parking to almost nothing. I was locked out of my room for a period because the battery died in the electronic lock. At check out I got charged an additional $38 hospitality fee that included parking!

Lack of menu, sports bar not open, room poorly renovated/temp control awful.
