The room could have been cleaned better it was dusty and the floors were dirty.

The king size bed room was very tiny. There was no place to sit other than the bed and one chair that was in a tight spot on the side of the bed.

There was so much to do and we love the area

    food, music, shops

    Location

When we were checking in there was an activity going on in the lobby bar. It was so loud that it made communication with the front desk staff difficult. The shower water temperature was impossible to adjust it was very hot at the coldest temperature and adjusting it only made it hotter (6:30 am)

From the room to the roof top pool everything was exceptional and the staff was great.

Would have liked to have seen a TV by the pool.that way I could watched the football games and had lunch off the game time menu.

The property was beautiful It’s a young vibe but which I expected the gym to reflect that

The gym The pool on Sunday wasn’t allowed to go unless I paid extra which isn’t fair to guests staying at the hotel

    Location, vibe and facilities 5*

They never answer the phone. So if you need to call them, they never answer the phone. This is not professional. They are service providers. They must be able to answer the phone to their guests. Moreover, they don't have daily cleaning service unless you ask for it. I could not find a hydration station on the 6th floor. They didn't provide us with liquid shower gel. They don't allow the guests to go to the roof top bar. You have to go through a rude girl at the elevator but when we went up it wasn’t that busy to justify the whole attitude.

    It was close to everything

First I paid for a king room and was taken so my husband and I ended up in room with 2 queen beds.2nd I don’t think the housekeepers had it together most didn’t speech English, I had to ask for things several times. They didn’t remember to put things back in our bathroom when we were out, they just over looked things all the time

Overall, however, everything was incredibly clean except the shower. The workout room was great.

Bed was a little hard for my taste. I thought the room was going to be a little bigger.

I reserved a book with moxy for mother days a week prior to the holiday.I live 2 hours away from St. Petersburg, I was on my way there and I simply wanted to let the hotel know i would be arriving late at night. A guy named CHRIS who works the night shift picks up the phone and informs me that no room is available for me because they’re completely sold out, goes on to tell me that they tried calling me but couldn’t reach me. And I told him “that’s a lie I haven’t received any phone call from the hotel” then goes on to say “well I don’t have any phone number on your reservation to reach you. I only have an e-mail on file.” I replied “So you couldn’t e-mail me to inform me that no room was available for me” CHRIS replied “no we don’t e-mail at this hotel, it’s too busy” (not sure why he claims he was so “busy” since he works the night shift) I then responded to him “ok so if I wouldn’t have called you, driven two hours to St. Petersburg you would’ve told me to go sleep in the streets because you failed to inform me of the sold out issue” he replied “that’s correct.” I responded by asking his name and he simply hung up the phone on me. I called back TWICE and he didn’t pick up the phone. CHRIS who works the night shift should get FIRED because this is intolerable behavior in the customer service field. I’m truly disappointed in the customer service at this hotel, if CHRIS hates his job this much he really should just quit. Also at the start of our phone call he claims they were sold out because other people wanted to extend their stay and they couldn’t “kick” them out. Not sure how that’s my problem since I reserved a room and paid for my room a week in advance to the holiday (also they hadn’t refunded my money until I called them on my way to hotel). I’m disgusted by the customer service at this hotel. Chris is you’re reading this you don’t belong at any job, I hope you get kicked out of your job and into the unemployment office.

Location was good with a lot of bars and restaurants in the area and walking distance to Chihuly Collection.

Our hotel room was dirty. The bed had been made but the rest of the room was not clean when we arrived - hair, dust, dirt on the floor and on all surfaces, the nightstands were absolutely disgusting. I called the front desk as soon as we got into the room and they said they would send someone up to clean the room. We were about to leave anyway so I asked if they could come in 10 minutes so they could clean while we were out of the room. Housekeeping arrived a minute later and I asked if they could give us another minute and come back. We left for the evening and when we returned we fully expected the room to have been cleaned while we were out but no, housekeeping did not clean the room. I called the front desk and asked for another room (as nicely as I could though I was super annoyed and angry), and the Manager came up with a new key. The new room was cleaner, the floor had been swept at least, but still not the level you would expect from a hotel. When we checked out early the next morning (I wanted to get the hell out of there) the woman at the front desk didn't even bother asking how our stay was. I can't believe people would even consider swimming in the pool knowing how poorly they clean the rooms. I will never stay at a Moxy and wouldn't recommend this hotel chain to anyone. Not worth the money at all.
