    Cons -

    • Don’t get catfished like we did. The photos do not match what you actually get. The room was disgustingly dirty and I’m sure I brought something home on my feet after brew dogging that carpet. Bathroom was tiny, door did not shut. No more room to type.
    • Everything! This place was misrepresented in the extreme. Old, tired, no elevator, 1930's BR area, showering was a 50's experience. Walking up & down three flights for every needed item, even though healthy, was an insult. Ripped Pricing!
    • It?s getting ready to change with 60 new rooms and I am afraid the old world charm will disappear and become more corporate

Entered room and it was full of mold. There was dirt everywhere. Hotel was under massive construction which was never disclosed exacerbating the mold spores. My throat began to close. I had to immediately vacate. No refund issued by this despicable hotel. Don't book this place.

Undisclosed construction; no elevator; dirty rooms; outdated fixtures and appliance; no hot water; across from a park with homeless people layered on top of each other (not kidding).

I’m an active solo traveler, and this location was perfect for me. I could head out the front door and walk for miles, seeing fun and interesting stuff the whole time. Half mile from the pier and right on the Pinellas bike trailHistorical hotel beautifully maintained

About a block and a half walk to the parking garage where the car was kept, but overall was nice to have free parking

Excellent location, loved the architectural details, coffee shop downstairs offered excellent blend!

Tub had stationary water, had to wash it before taking a shower. Blackout shades did keep most of the parking lot’s light out…not all. The mattress was bumpy.

The staff were all phenomenal. They were polite, helpful, and kind. The location was outstanding. We were in walking distance to all the arts district and many restaurants. The hotel was charming and being lovingly restored.

There was mold in the upper corner of the shower stall that had been clearly treated at some point, but had returned. The bathroom was absurdly small. The toilet was situated so that your knees were under the sink to sit on it, which could be an issue if a person was larger or disabled.

The bartender was nice and so were the housekeeper

The room was disgusting and nasty. Specially, the carpet. We arrive a little after eight and there was no one available. The after hours numbers was not working properly. Left couple message. No one called back. Couldn’t find the keys to the room until the bartender found them

I would appreciate if someone call me that is management so I can express my concerns to them about what all happened. Also, I was charged on my debit card when I specifically gave them my credit card to charge it on before I left and they still charged it on my debit card please someone contact me. I would very much appreciate it. 813-731-6450 Tia Overstreet.

Love the amount of towels and the free parking at the sundial is why I repeat book this place.

Small sinks nowhere to put my products. You should install a shelf or two.

    Location and style

    No staff, bar closed early

Location was great. Very quaint, historic hotel. Loved the hands-on coffee bar

Going up three floors by stairs to our room. The tiny shower and bathroom. No place to put toiletries. Shower area was dirty around tiles.

    Location. Reasonable cost.

Dirty and small bathroom. No hot water on first night. Poor directions to parking garage and poor directions on how to use it in email.Extremely loud noise at 6 am coming from just outside the building.

    nice room.

Dated AC unit; construction next door; Loud noisy bar; 15 feet from my room.

The staff was generally very friendly and hospitable. The hotel has a beautiful historic charm. The location is unbeatable, and very walk-friendly to many destinations. The bar was convenient.

The level of cleanliness was not to a quality standard. There was black mold that appeared to be in the bathroom shower tile grout. I also noticed toothpaste lower on the faucet handles. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom, and the window was painted/jammed shut. The carpet was not only dated, but visibly grimey looking from wear and bleach stains. There were no tissues, and the blinds on the windows allowed light to shine right into your eyes when the sun comes up. Even the cup I received my coffee in at the bar had lipstick stains on it. This level of attention to detail was missing during my stay.

Love supporting historic properties. This one has a lot of personality. Its own little bar in the lobby frequented by locals. Light breakfast items I believe with fresh coffee. Free parking lot close by or use meters.

There is construction going on as they are expanding and the opposite side is a public parking lot. It was a bit more noise than I would prefer but not intolerable. Double check if there is or is not a resort fee.

Quaintness of historic building. Room was large.

Claw foot tub looked cool but hard to get in and out of plus was a little slippery.
