Econo Inn - Ormond Beach

It was near the event we attended.

It was disgusting. Sheets dirty. Tub and shower were filthy. Mattress was worn out. Squeaky and noisy. And they tripled the price because of the event.

Poor location Very dirty Door had big gap under it

NOT what I would expect when paying $--- Paid $70 less the next day and we were in the beach! Absolute worst experience ever. Room was over 80 degrees when we entered as the air was not on, and it took over 3 hours for the room to cool down! NEVER AGAIN!!

Location

The motel is poorly maintained, the vanity sink leaks on the cold water function. The grab bar in the shower was broken, the refrigerator/freezer didn¿t work, it either froze the contents or didn¿t work. Maintenance is non existent.

I was very unhappy with the hotel,i was in I will not return at that hotel at all.

When I bookie I ask for one bed and a smoking room i did not get that at all and the a.c. didn't work no frigerator and microwave wasn't working and the management was rude I do not recommend this hotel to anyone

Where do I start Go check in 1st room was already occupied. Walked in on people well doing what couples do. Go to let desk,clerk know and he changed my room . 2nd room no water to run. 3Rd room floor not clean

Absolutely nothing. It smelled like cat urine. The tub/shower was dirty. There was not even a clock in the room. The lady wanted to move me up to the second floor but I am disabled and cannot go up stairs. Very disappointed. Will Never stay again.

Everything.... Disgusting, there was not even a light that would work in the bathroom. It smelled like cat urine, but they made sure to tell me NO PETS allowed but folks in next room had a dog. Just ridiculous. Will never stay there again.

When we was down on our luck for one day they turned their backs on us, they did not have a heart, and for fact it would of been for one night. Will never go back to a place that puts an 83 year old on the streets.

Needs updating, small towels to dry off with. Room key stopped working and could not get in touch with anyone.

The building was literally falling apart. Pieces of the facia were missing other unit doors signs of attempted forced entry. Dirty mattresses piled outside the dumpster: within a half an hour I witnessed a drug deal in the parking lot, just outside my room and a guest stumbled past me with black and eyes – obviously intoxicated.My room door had at one point been kicked in so it was not airtight nor aligned,and each lock was missing except for the deadbolt which had been chewed by an animal. When I took a shower, I noticed there was drywall cracked and falling apart but had been taped together with clear duct tape. The toilet was not sealed and moved back-and-forth, there was dried urine on the bowl. The outlet covers were busted and dirty outlets, they were baby German cockroaches crawling Under the vanity -which I killed. I had to store my purse in the fridge to avoid an infestation. I noticed dead bugs behind the couch and there was dirt and dust on the ceiling, tables and lamps. There were random body hairs on the bed pillow and in the tub. The place was just disgusting.I had nowhere else to stay for the evening, so I barricaded the door and slept next to my firearm. I took pictures of everything and emailed it to the office, also following up in the morning. I was asked why I didn’t change rooms, but the building is the building and it wouldn’t have mattered, plus it was too late in the evening. I just wanted to get out of there.I emailed the office for a for a refund – either full or partial –and never received a response.I’ve stayed at questionable motels in my life, but I’ve never actually felt fear or this level of discomfort.

The bed is comfortable.

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The AC was great.

The furniture was beat up, the walls needing patching and paint. They mowed the lawn at 11:00pm preventing us from sleeping due to the noise and fresh cut grass smell. I went to the front office to ask for them to please stop, which they did and now it is 11:15pm. At 12:00 midnight a lady in a room two doors down from us woke us up screaming at someone at the top of her voice. I got out of bed, stepped outside and saw screaming at three dogs inside her room. She looked like she was a druggie or alcoholic. I again had to visit the front office to report this. Upon my checkout, I received a nice polite apology for what happened that night but no compensation was offered nor did I ask.

Beds was comfortable, water pressure was great an price was right! Staff was friendly.
