Rooms at Up Midtown are simply decorated with clean white walls, white linens and marble floors. Each room is equipped with a refrigerator, satellite TV and a private bathroom. Up Midtown offers a tour desk which can assist guests in planning activities. parking is available on site with an extra charge. Downtown Miami and American Airlines Arena are a 5-minute drive from this Up Midtown. The Miami Children's Museum and Miami Beach are a 10-minute drive away.

- Price
- I stayed at this hotel two years ago. It has since been upgraded and the room was much nicer than my past experience here. There is now privacy glass in the bathroom, there wasn't any window covering in the bathroom last time I was there, big improvement.
- Very clean. Simple but comfortable.
Cons -
- My initial room smelled so badly of mold I had to ask to be moved. Next room was dirty with food on floor and unclean bathroom
- The TV did not work! It would not connect to the wifi. I had to use my own device to watch TV in the room. The wifi is very spotty. The air conditioner died multiple times while I was in the room and I had to keep asking the front desk to please reset it.
- Stains on the bed sheets, really gross; No curtains in the bathroom looking into the adjoining building; No coffee pot; No hand towels or face clothes; No tissues; very loud parties; very thin walls you can hear people talking in the room next to you.
