Pros +
- Our concierge was tremendously helpful, our bartender was entertaining, and the digs were solid. Overall, a very enjoyable experience.
- My wife and I stayed here for New Year's Eve and had a fantastic experience. The staff is super friendly and helpful, the room was great, the outdoor bar fun with delicious cocktails, the restaurant was upscale casual at its best. Ten stars.
- I would say this is a motel not a hotel but it was very good I would definitely recommend It was VERY clean, comfortable beds and decent bedding. The staff were lovely and extremely friendly and the coffee was the best we’ve had during our 2 week travel around Florida !
Cons -
- Too few electrical outlets in the room.
- While it wasn't a problem for us, some people might be uncomfortable with the toilet area, which is only separated from the rest of the room by a partial door. The sort of open layout plan one might find in European hotels.

The people that work there were THE best! Everyone! The place is retro, cute, clean & in a good location for our needs. The shower set up was a bit odd (right in the room but the door was frosted.) I would have appreciated a little refrigerator in the room but it wasn't a deal breaker. The pool area is very nice. There is free coffee & tea all day at the front desk.If/when I'm back in Miami I'll be returning & recommending this cute motel to family & friends.
everything. Room, check in. eateries nearby.
Clean, big rooms
No coffee machine and no fridge in room
The 1950s restoration was beautiful. The furnishings best in class. Staff friendly and helpful.
The security gates made access to parking awkward but doable.
pool, the owner respond to a problem.
The location- nothing to do in the area, you can here everything in the room from outside and other rooms.
Large room. Good facilities and friendly accommodating staff
The funky room was fun.The bed was comfortable.Parking was easy and appreciatedLocation was fantastic near heaps of restaurants.
Unfortunately the floor boards crackle above when walked on.We were on the ground floor. This noise, and the lit up walkway light coming in the uncovered frosted glass door of our toom spoilt our first night there. The second night the room above was empty and we draped something over the glass door so we had a much better nights sleep. No obvious liquid milk for tea and coffee at reception was disappointing. (Just powdered whitener seen)I couldnt recommend Vagabond until they provide blinds for the room doors.
The hotel was clean and and the pool area was cute. The staff were friendly.
The staff were very nice and welcoming, love the 24/7 service, beautiful, clean, and comfortable rooms with a vintage design. The rooms included water bottles, robes, humidifier, and were spacious.
Some outdoor areas need maintenance (clean/replace).
Everything!! The staff are very professional, kind & helpful. We will be back for sure! Love it
Bigger pool:)
Very charming and comfortable with lovely and welcoming staff. Rooms are quiet, spacious, and restful, showers are hot with good water pressure. The pool area and restaurant are great. Will stay here again.
Upon arrival I was highly impressed with the friendliness of the staff at check in. Walked to my room and was blown away by how spacious and lovely it was! You could full-on starfish in the bed and still have room for both of you! The pool are was beautiful and clean. Having the patio area to sit out in the evening and bring our own beer whilst we made plans for the next day was perfect. I would definitely stay here again if we came back to Miami, I’m only disappointed I didn’t have more time there to have a day around the pool.
I didn’t notice if there was anywhere to grab a drink. There was a bar by the pool but never saw it staffed.
It was in walking distance to the venue we were attending and restaurants.
It was not as clean as it should have been. As soon as we walked in someone else hair was on the bathroom counter as well in the shower. Luckily I bring my own cleaning supplies to make it more comfortable for us. But for the rate I paid I expected it to be cleaner than it was.
Staff were amazing! Room was big and clean.
The retro decor was lovely. The room was a good size, as was the shower. I really liked the high vaulted ceiling. Next to the hotel is the restaurant, Ensenada. It’s only open on the weekends, but it’s excellent!
It wasn’t as clean as I would have liked, but I am picky.
central locationvery nice poolclean and comfortable roomcomfy beds
Rooms are good size and comfy bed.
There were two separate photo shoots happening around the hotel and pool on two of the three days I was staying there. The hotel didn’t let us know about this and the crew constantly asked us to move out of the way for shots. Seems this happens quite a lot after speaking to people. The bar by the pool has also closed down. No breakfast or food in general available at the hotel.
