Location, pool area and beach!

Didn’t care for restaurants breakfast selections.

The location of the beach and all the pools.

Although the staff were very nice - I found their fussing and attention a bit overpowering

The rooms themselves were fresh and clean. However, service overall left much to be desired.

We arrived at The St. Regis Longboat Key at 4:27 PM, expecting a smooth check-in as the official time is 4:00 PM. Unfortunately, our room was not ready. The front desk receptionist simply told us to wait in the lobby for 30–40 minutes - no welcome drinks, no apology.We explained we had plans and kindly asked them to expedite the process. Only after this request did they offer us a room within 10 minutes. It gave us the impression that they could have done it earlier, and the lack of proactive hospitality was disappointing.At breakfast, we had to wait about 15 minutes just to be seated — with a line of guests forming and staff seeming unprepared.For a luxury property, we expected a higher level of attentiveness and warmth. For a hotel of this category, we expected a much higher level of attentiveness and personalized care.
