Hampton Inn & Suites Lake Wales

There was a dog barking in room next to us, and on reception they said we are pet friendly hotel, however while booking I specifically selected hotels where pets are not allowed due to allergies Hotel is very outdated. Wallpapers are peeling off the wall

The smooth and easy check in, the cleanliness and the front desk staff and housekeeping were very inviting.

Only issue and it has nothing to do with the service. It’s just that there needs to be some more lighting when parking in the back side of the hotel.

Location. Close to the college.

I saw a cockroach 🪳 on the room door across from my door. Also a baby cockroach on the table during breakfast. Horrible. Room was dusty. Never again.

Quality and variety of food on the breakfast bar was excellent and the cook was very pleasant.

Carpets in room and in most of common areas was in dire need of cleaning.

Friendly staff, clean room, decent breakfast

The cleanliness and the sweetest check in gals! They were very helpful and thoughtful. Thank you ladies!

I forgot to let the staff know that the outdoor pool lights did NOT turn on after dark.

friendly staff, spacious room, clean, good breakfast

Quiet , spacious and Clean room ! And Great breakfast buffet too ! The Mexican lady Breakfast staff was awesome with kindness and service !!! Thank you !

Location

Served hotdogs in place of bacon most days and call it sausage. Cheapest thing I?ve ever seen. Also breakfast is supposed to run till not sure 930 or 10. Everything removed and cleaned up at 9 AM. Couldn?t get a 2nd cup of coffee

one to what we needed, friendly staff, clean, well stocked and monitored breakfast

The staff was professional and courteous.

Would have preferred a walk in shower to a tub.

1. Location: easy to get to downtown, attractions, and my relative's home. 2. All the staff members were polite, courteous and helpful. 3. Swimming pool. 4. Breakfast bar with many choices. 5. View from my window across pastures, pond and woodlands.

The exercise room was very small with limited equipment. I would have liked some weights.

The front desk staff was nice.

I asked for every other day cleaning service. I was there 7 nights and only received full service cleaning once. I had to ask for that cleaning. When I asked the cleaning staff for clean towels, she told me I was killing her.

The people were just fine

The hotel was run down. The ac in the room was awful- noisy and inefficient. The bed was lumpy. The pillows were terrible - plastic feeling and humid wet-yuck. Sleep was impossible.

Close where I needed to be

Bed wasn't comfortable and the fitted sheets kept coming off..my Aunt and Uncle recommended this hotel because it was close to them.

I loved the room and the customer service the most.

My room shower did not get hot. I was told that due to the high volume of travelers, the water would warm up soon.

Breakfast was pretty decent, like the fact that I can of Coke is one dollar. But the rooms were nasty, and the beds definitely were not Hampton Inn quality. Very disappointing

Cafeteria looks cleaned and stocked. Coffee was very fresh.

Carpets were noticeably dirty throughout the hotel , Sheets didn't fit my bed , curtains didn't close properly , ice maker on that floor wasn't working. I have stayed there many times and this was the dirtiest I have ever seen it.

Very comfortable room, spacious. Exactly what I expected from a Hampton Inn. The room was clean and smelled of cleaning products. The breakfast buffet options were good as well.

The room and bathroom was a bit dated. Mismatched carpet, and patchy walls. The desk chair was in need or repair.

Convenient location to where I needed to be. The comfort and staff were good.

There was hair that was not mine in my food on 2 different mornings. The dining staff should be required to wear hair nets. It is customary just about everywhere and if it were mandatory, I am sure the staff wouldn't mind.
