Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Jacksonville Butler Boulevard

It was very clean and spacious.

The room seemed like it was missing a chair. There was a lamp in the corner of the room and there is usually a chair and ottoman. The rug was only under the beds. It would be nice to have a rug because the LVP is a little sandy.

The location was perfect, the staff was very friendly, and the option of breakfast was nice.

The only negative was that the hotel was under renovation, and I was not aware of this when I booked. Sheet rock dust aggravated allergies, and made the floors very slippery. For the amount I paid for the room, this was rather disappointing.

The hotel was under construction and half of the hotel was shut down. They did not have a room for us upon arrival.

I really loved the customer service . I worked with a lady early early Sat morning on 09/21/24 .. she was working a 12am to 12 pm shift and was so accommodating for me and my family . I just wanted to recognize her as I felt very comfortable and homey.

Internet was horrible. Only 4mb. Toilet ran every few minutes. Had to keep bathroom door closed.(Room#209) Huge gap bottom left of door and bottom. A cat could have crawled under the door.

The only thing this hotel has going for it is the location. That's it.

Absolutely horrible experience. The hotel turned off the water while I was in the middle of a shower without telling guests. It happened several times during the day. Extremely noisy Hotel. Very old and dated. I will never stay at one of these hotels

It has a generator. Also due to the hurricane passing, the hotel was kind enough to agree to a refund a second night. Good customer service!

The complimentary breakfast was limited and just ok.

Everyone from front desk to the cleaning workers were smiling and friendly and greeted us when in their presence. The lady serving breakfast was cheerful, efficient, and helpful.

The rooms were very spacious.

A couple of the employees had a bad attitudes and it could've been a lot cleaner\smelled better

I was in room 318 and I reported that the air conditioning was not working and the front offered to give me another room. But it was 2am so I declined. The room was stuffy and bc of COVID I think I should have not been charged the full price.

I like the hotel. It’s my choice to stay there when I have church in Jacksonville but I’m thinking I should look around ...

Cleanliness. Free parking. Helpful staff.

Due to COVID they don’t service the room daily

The only thing I didn’t like was the elevator and hall smelled like marijuana . I reported to staff they said they was going to spray. Later at 1 am I smelled marijuana again in my room. I believe someone was smoking in the room. I eventually left early

Comfortable beds. The inclusion of the mini fridge and microwave. It was clean, and breakfast was decent.

Not crazy about the surrounding area.

This was a overall great experience. The hotel was very clean and the staff was more than accommodating. Great price as well. I have stayed in many hotels in the surrounding area and this had to be the best.

New design and location

Front desk staff was borderline rude, the room was not clean, and the dryer in the guest laundry was not working (and did not have an out of order sign)!

Overall a great experience again. Nothing looked dated, so it must have been renovated after some of the older comments on here were made. This hotel has attributes of hotels with more stars.

At first, I was concerned, because I was booked into a room that had an adjoining room...you know the kind where you can even hear the other guests breathing. However, the front desk checked and told me no one was in the adjoining room. So it was fine.

The staff the accommodations ample parking great breakfast and Internet were all superb.

This hotel was affordable and of nice quality for the price. Lobby was nice, clean and modern. Room had everything needed and bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Didn't eat the breakfast, but it looked like a nice variety and decent quality.

Left my room for a few hours. A few things were different when I came back (closet door, drawers, freezer left open) and my iPad was gone. Staff and mangers have been helpful so far, hoping it turns up or they make this right for me another way.

I would have liked to known the hotel was under renovation.
