Hampton Inn Jacksonville I-10 West

Wedding party and out of town guests stayed and hotel allow my daughter a block of rooms for reservations at a discounted rate. They upgraded the bridge and groom to a suite at no charge and decorated their bed with flowers in shape of heart & choc kisses

Very welcoming staff. Nice and clean. The room did not have a smoke smell which was good. It also didn't smell old so this was a plus.

1) Toilet had a black streak in it. 2) Walking from the the door toward the toilet you see blackness at the back. After careful inspection I noticed that it was the black screws in the toilet. 2) should touch up paint around the tub chipping a little.

Great breakfast, lots of options. Clean rooms, comfortable beds

Heating unit was a little loud, but no other complaints

Spotlessly clean room with friendly staff and a large hot breakfast. This is my new favorite hotel.

My husband thought that the tubs should have some slip resistance in the bat tub. They were kind of slick. Everything else was fine.

Cleanliness and location. Felt comfortable with the breakfast setup.

Noticed that two guys who were fishing behind the property, got into the hotel. They definitely weren't staying there. Security issue?

the first room we went to smelled of mold and had water stains on the wall. Staff was helpful and changed our room immediately. However, over the course of spending three nights there we found 6 cockroaches in our room. Place seemed clean but not.

Air condition did not work properly during the 2 days we were there, and yes we called front desk and they tried to repair by thermostat, never called maintenance and by our last night our room temperature was 78 degrees with thermostat set on 69

It was clean and the breakfast looked pretty good.

The swimming pool is very small.

Very reasonable price for Florida. Very nice bed. Hampton Inn is a good reliable chain.

This is very picky: I wish they would not put breakfast fruit in sugar water. I suspect they are doing it to preserve the fruit, but I don't need the extra carbs!

Room smelled musty. Bathroom door got stuck often. Room key didn't work sometime.

My wife is allergic to strong smells. The room had an overwhelming perfume smell. Staff said they could fix it..did not. We left and didn't stay in the room. No more Hampton.

Front staff wasn't terribly friendly. Room size was pretty tight and there was no closet or option for hanging anything.

Great location. Very courteous staff. Everything we needed. No indoor pool or whirlpool.
