Hampton Inn Jacksonville East Regency Square

No glassware or water cups in the room. Towels were old, gray and very rough.

The water pressure from the shower in my room was low. The climate control unit was also very loud each time it started.

The breakfast hostess was a bit harsh to some of the guest. When they asked for help with the waffle machine.

Room was ready and I checked in early (15 mins). the front was friendly and helpful. Room was mosly clean (former housekeeping mgr in the Hilton Brand). Breakfast was very good, food was hot and plentiful.

Homeless person living just offsite. Just before you turn left into the parking lot in the dead end. Not the hotel's property, I assume, but not something you want to see.

Great location. Near an interstate but quiet. Great food places all close by. the man that checked us in, and he was very helpful and very friendly. Breakfast was spot on also.

Comfy bed and nice shower head pressure.

The shower door would not stayed closed during showering unless I stuffed a towel in the slider area.

Great front desk service - was great PR person - engaging and accommodating!

Sadly left behind a medical cooler case, contacted hotel within hours but no word back from housekeeping so don¿t expect to see it again. Otherwise, everything was fantastic!!!

There was nothing to like as we didn't get a room due to untrained staff.

I had to sleep in my car. It took the clerk two hours trying to figure out how to assign a room. She spoke with two different reps. Finally, at 3 AM, I had to just sleep in my car because the clerk said she didn't know how to assign a room.

Seemed pretty clean.

AC in the room was not working. Had to ask to be switched.

Clean. Modern. Great breakfast. Lots of variety.

Pool was dirty. A bit too noisy on Saturday night.

Filthy, common area carpets not vacuumed in forever. Housekeeping just walked by the filth

Asked for a quiet room. They delivered! Most of the staff was extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast eggs were really good. Great stay. Would recommend.

When I Checked in there was a problem, called front desk, told staff about the problem, it was taken care off the next morning.

Signs required masks, but 2 of staff members I saw did not wear them.

Cleanliness and quiet

One of the ladies at the front desk had a very nasty attitude with me and even continued to follow me into the area that breakfast was served in and ask me questions that had nothing to do with anything.

The hotel is easy to find and a nice getaway spot. The staff on the other hand are ridiculous, my room was not ready when I got there and had to wait another 45min despite getting there an hour after my check in time.

How convenient it was

For the weekend there was an individual that was smoking marijuana near my room, I complained about the smell and nothing happened at all.

The staff was very accommodating, the room was above my expectations and also very clean. A special shout-out to hotel employee at the front desk. A huge thank you to the housekeeping staff for turning in items left behind.

The breakfast was very basic. I would have enjoyed a waffle station and especially decaf coffee.
