This hotel in Lauderdale by the Sea, Florida is only 5 minutes' walk from the ocean and restaurants. The hotel offers free on-site parking and WiFi throughout the property. Every accommodations includes a 32-inch TV, safety deposit box, and private bathroom. Studio apartments feature fully equipped kitchens, complete with a full-size refrigerator and an oven. Guests at the Horizon by the Sea can go for a swim in the outdoor pool or spend the day at the beach. Launderette facilities are located on site. The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale offers upscale shopping and is 10 minutes' drive from the property. Port Everglades is 20 minutes' drive.

- Very clean!
- Location, large bedroom, closet room. The pool towels and ice machine were a nice addition. Staff was accommodating and friendly.
- Close to beach, very comfortable bed. And hot water.
Cons -
- The placement of the AC (which they likely cannot change) did not allow for the bedroom to get cold, while the small hall, bathroom and luggage closet were freezing. The hot water in the bathroom-both shower and sink-were lukewarm at best always.
- No
- office staffing spotty, our room location wasn't great, especially with all the vacancies. They put on first floor, under the stairs, next to ice machine, behind office.
