- front desk is excellent! Breakfast small but well stocked.
- Pleasant and accommodating staff. Nice breakfast even with limited selection. Better than you would expect at this price point. Location is unmatched....ocean facing, minutes to the beach and very close to dining, merchandise and sundry stores.
- The beach was a short walk away.
Cons -
- Pool towels are a bit worn and could be larger and extra seat in room at table.
- Room was clean but beat-up. Walls had multiple marks; bureau drawers out of alignment; upholstrery needed cleaning. Bath was OK but scant on towels. Shower valves were a mystery so setting a temp where you didn't freeze or get scalded was a challenge.
- The hotel is old. The business practices are OLD. When we checked in they copied my driver's license (WHY??) and took my credit card info. Later they left a note in our room that they needed more info. When we checked with staff, they couldn't explain...
