Big Pine Key Motel

The room was very noisy, the fridge was rusty and noisy, only a simple bed sheet and 1 pillow, no breakfast included for $---...motel very poorly managed. It's shameful to have a motel like that in such a location.

The best thing about the stay was the young lady clerk who was quick and very efficient in taking care of me when I could get no WiFi on either my phone or my laptop in the room I was placed. Throughout my stay, she was immediately available and took care of every need. She was the best part of what was an overpriced room, but even cheaper than others.

Breakfast was good at restaurant

Lots of noise out side my room with several people parting in a group until 11:30 at night.

Location on rte 1. Access to lower keys transit. Walk to Winn Dixie, Jig’s bait and tackle, drug stores and good restaurants. Quiet. Friendly personnel. Excellent housekeeping. Good mattress. Good a/c.

The bathroom had mold all through the caulking, and the veneer is peeling off the bathroom door. All shelves that are supposed to be in the refrigerator were missing. The mattresses were extremely uncomfortable. They were way too hard.

I liked the memory foam mattress

Pillows were flat, there were no blankets on the bed, holes in bathroom, pain splatters and mirror was peeling off. In addition they don't even give you coffee after spending over $200 a night. When I expressed my frustration the worker just said there's a cafe next door, totally dismissing my point.

For an island stay, this was a decent option for one night. The room was spacious enough and provided all the basic amenities needed.

It was quite expensive, but that is comparable to other hotels in the area, so there is not much to complain about.

I arrived super late and they made accommodations to make sure that I was able to get into my room. Slept well and was able to make it to my job.

Convenient location. Typical side of the road motel but room was far bigger than usual. All staff were great, especially Cheryl.

The lock on my room door was sticky and one time, I couldn't open it at all. Fortunately, staff was still there to let me in.

Comfortable. I liked the mirrored windows that allowed us to open the curtains but still have privacy.

The drain in the bathtub was gross.There was no place to hang clothes.

The water pressure and hot water were great. The unit had been repainted and the interior looked good.

It was outdated and the parking lot was small. We had a big truck and it was difficult to park.

The best experience with our stay was the professional and wonderful attitude of the young lady in the office. She was very helpful and attended us super happy. We are very pleased with the hotel but the best of all was the treatment by the office lady, she even came to our aid to help us with the tv. We'll definitely stay again.
