It feels a bit cheapened with the renovation. Should have marble bathrooms, not plastic sink countertops. It’s all in the details…

No coffee on a Sunday am before 9 am unless you order room service. No coffee maker in a room-- a suite!

Rooms are comfortable and spacious. Lobby is nicely decorated.

The restaurant is beautiful but the prices are too high. One small added slice of toast to an omelet has a $3 upcharge. The hallway carpet on 9 has a couple of large bleach spots which is a shame to look at every passing because the hall was recently renovated. The carpets and baseboards were dirty and dusty in the hallway. Room services replaced towels but didn't make the bed. The key stopped working the morning of check out which caused a lot of stress to get it activated again.

Lovely old historic hotel, superior king room exceeded our expectations. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Food at Cavalier was excellent and setting charming

No negativrs

The hotel was beautiful. The room was a nice size and the bed was comfortable. One of the staff members, Robert, was excellent. We had a stink bug in the room and he came immediately to remove it. We had to call the front desk for ice and he brought it quickly and opened a jar for us while he was there. We had brunch in the restaurant. The server wasn't very pleasant but the gentleman who brought our food was so hospitable. My friend asked for crispy bacon but what he brought was not. As quickly as she got out the sentence, he took back the bacon and returned a few moments later with what she wanted. We had our makeup done at the spa and Amber was amazing! She did a great job and we enjoyed sparkling wine with great conversation while she did. We went in and out a few times and every valet who retrieved my car made us feel welcome. It was a girl's night out for me and my roommate from college, with an overnight stay and they made it really great! I would recommend the hotel and would stay there again!

We had a stink bug in the room. We could have done without that. LOL! The server at the restaurant was not very pleasant. She was the only downside to the experience. Even the bell hop who held our bags while we had brunch in the restaurant made us feel welcome and that they were glad to have us there.
