This hotel is located in The Wharf, part of a mile long stretch of DC's Potomac River featuring restaurants, shops and recreational space. The waterfront piers at the front of the hotel can be used to rent kayaks, sail, paddle-board and access the local water taxi. - Location, location, location. Could not have been better, was within a short walking distance of where we needed to be and when we were not busy, there was a huge selection of restaurants practically right outside the front door.

Cons -
- Bathroom had pocket doors that didn’t lock and the mechanism was misaligned so anytime anyone shut the door it made the wall behind the beds shake.
- Pool was closed. Should have only been through May 29. Several ice machines were down and instead of bringing us ice we were asked to go to other floors to get it. Room was underwhelming with the exception of the bathroom sink area.
- Wish their shower head had a selection rather than just the 'gentle rain' type one. Other than that........
