Staff extremely nice and helpful. Room very clean and quiet

It’s a gorgeous and hip hotel that is close to a lot of great restaurants. The staff is friendly and helpful. Location is walking distance to Smithsonian. Rooms are comfortable . And the food at the hotel is also great especially the Spanish cuisine in the main restaurant.

Everything was great including the bed comfort, room cleanliness, and the staff was helpful. The room we got was nice and quiet it was not loud in our area of the hotel. The small snack area was good with the avocado toast and other snacks available.

Our sink was not draining properly at first so that was a bummer upon arrival. I wish the TV's had a YouTube application on them, I'm just not a fan of cable television personally. An iron and a iron board would be very handy for the next stay as well!

The food options on site were delicious, but I wished there would be more choice for casual lunch and dinner.

Such a perfect Washington location. Gym was great probably best hotel gym around. The hotel is in such a safe location with an FBI office being across the road! Staff great especially Carlos the cocktail guru. Also for information if you are staying here the pizza shop about 100 metre is fabulous and cafe Alice is amazing for snacks and coffee.

The urban charges needs clearer explanation : the initial expected charge went up from the booking.com first statement adding tax which is expected but once booked it also then went up with the hotel adding the 'Urban' charge this was so confusing on arrival, in essence we paid $521 for a 4 night stay and we had a drink in the bar each evening with the 'allowance' from the Urban charge. Also as with lots of things in the USA you pay tax on the Urban charge to the hotel and then you pay tax when you spend the $15 dollars at the hotel so the real Urban charge it really nearer an additional $45 per night with the double taxation, as an added charge to the booking charges: Also a really different charge is that you are charged $75 deposit for incidentals each and every night so we had $300 for a four night stay on hold for 5 days after checkout until it was retuned: The room window ms need curtains as it would be great to have the blackout blinds open when in the room but as there are offices overlooking the hotel you are on full display to the workers : so it's blinds down and lights on !! Pool is tiny and dated: hotel is now doing events parties and wedding this made the bar and roof top overwhelmed, the bar staff were doing a Stirling effort but they really needed reinforcements as customer to staff ratios were incorrect.

The location, the staff, the hotel itself was very classy and priced reasonably.

This hotel has a very cool design — it’s newly rebuilt on top of an old red-brick building, blending modern style with historic charm. The room is a bit small, but very well designed, with thoughtful details and stylish decorations that rival, and even surpass, some 5-star hotels. The location is fantastic: right in the heart of the city, in a lively and safe neighborhood, with plenty of great restaurants and attractions within walking distance.

Offside parking could be inconvenient.

Beautiful hotel and very friendly staff. The included breakfast was delicious!

Very small room, and a little noisy (outside) in the mornings. We could hear the garbage truck.

Location was great, staff was friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and comfortable. It had a modern feel. Parking was convenient and reasonably priced. I enjoyed the fitness center.

The Bodega didn't take the daily meal vouchers.
