Clarion Inn North Haven - New Haven North

Upon arrival room not ready. Our 1st night members of the motorcycle club tried to force themselves into our room not 1 time but 3 times. Day 2 motor cycle club had an event with raving bikes inside loud music until after 12 again tried to force in room.

Yes the management, the evening employee (male). When I complained about the noise the manager said " we are having a motorcycle event and I will have to deal with it. Several Quinnipiac families stayed there this weekend every single one complained

The breakfast was served is not good for other faith. Hotel service only pork sausage and fork mixed meat and meals . They should serve beef or Turkey or Chicken sausage so all people can eat and enjoy . Kids got so upset when they saw food with pork

Assigned wheelchair acc room. Water not hot enuf.

I hated the perfumy smell. It gave me a headache. I didn't like that housekeeping and fresh towels weren't a daily option.

The 24 hour desk clerk.

The hotel smelled like Marijuana. There was definitely a growing operation close by. Not sure where this was going on but it was very disturbing to me.

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Greeted us each day with "Good Morning". Helped with any questions. The location is ideal for me. I come to visit my mother who only lives a mile away.

Complementary breakfast was not the best. Eggs appear to be powdered. Sausage hard. Not a great selection of cereal. Rugs are worn. Found a green, mold like substance on the side of the bureau between beds. Toilet seat stuck open under shelf.

I have tried to speak to someone about this Hotel I left after the 1 night as there was a bug in my room in the bed with me..

the bug that was in my room and I got no help when I spoke to the desk

The rugs in my room were really dirty - dog hair, other debris. It was cleaned for the second night after I requested that.

My room faced the railroad tracks. The trains run at all day at different times. Freight trains ran late at night my room shook every night of my stay. I was awakened every night of my stay by a shaking bed and the noise from the train.

The front desk staff, kind and welcoming

The low rating was becase i had a very short stop just to sleep 4 hrs but the guest next door was loudy, talking and banging. Could sleep barely an hr only

Hotel room was NOT 7 star cleanliness. Missed having cocktails because Bar closed 30 min early.

They went above to give us a room with handicap in it and our dog was welcomed what they have done with the place from when we stayed there a couple years ago is great and they say they are not done yet very friendly

Hot tub broken, mattress needs to be replaced. Pool unusable 2nd night.
