Cons -
- It was very untidy. The shower was so dirty, it shower floor had a layer of buildup, hairs everywhere. It smelled of mildew, we were in the lodge, not a suite, but a basement. The spiderwebs were everywhere, place needs deep clean. No onsitehiking/hottub
- The doors in the room could use some TLC
- Windows could use some cleaning. Quite a few cobwebs in the higher windows.

The mountain views and settings. The owners were quite nice. Food was good.

Beautiful quiet dual location.
We had trouble with broken windows in our room during a strong storm. The owner acknowledge awareness of the problem without concern for our poor night sleep caused by the situation. We decided not to request a second night.
Loved the peaceful, beautiful mountain setting. The bed and breakfast was large and beautiful. Evelyn greeted us promptly and was kind to give us a private bathroom. Sitting on the large deck, watching hummingbirds and horses was wonderful!
Environment. Beautiful country. Not too hard to access from downtown Pagosa. Shower, bed, omelettes in the morning were great.
A little bit of hot sleep. Could open the windows but they were someone janky and the host informed us they had been prone to misuse by prior guests. They were lever and crank based.
Great location. Clean and well appointed. Nice staff
The chalet was lovely. It had far more amenities than listed. A bath would have been a great asset but there was a hot tub in main building. Breakfast was biscuits and gravy-yumm Directions were not easy to follow..... a sign at the end would help!
Location and atmosphere.
Sharing a bathroom with another room but that is a bed and breakfast norm
I liked the homelike atmosphere the best. Our room was comfortable and clean. I was worried about sharing a bathroom but the owner blocked the room adjacent to ours so that we would not have to share. Breakfast was superb.
Fantastic B&B and I loved this place! Evelyn was wonderful and had an excellent breakfast. The accommodations were lovely, the country setting was perfect. This is a jewel! Comfortable bed, great shower, very creative decorating details throughout!
Everything was perfect! Nothing but the best!!! Would return if ever in the area!
amazing, stunning decor - modern, yet a beautiful mountain lodge look. bathrooms, rooms, - everything is new, clean, very well maintained. warm and friendly owner, breakfast cooked to order when you want it..! absolutely loved it!
we did not have a problem, as no one was next door, but do check if it would bother you, as a bathroom is shared between 2 rooms. would work great for families, or friends.
Beautiful location
It was was an absolutely beautiful place to stay and Evelyn was very accommodating. We look forward to our next visit there.
Staff. She is a gracious and incredibly friendly hostess.
No. It was beautiful inside and out.
The hotel staff were very helpful and ensured we felt welcome and that we had everything we needed

They seemed completely unaware a pandemic is going on
We like the rustic, roomy atmosphere. Very relaxing!
Wonderful place and breakfast !
