Springhill Suites by Marriott Denver Parker

I recently stayed at this hotel and was thoroughly impressed by how clean and well-maintained everything was. The entire place looks new and feels fresh, which made for a very comfortable stay. While the breakfast wasn’t the highlight—it was just okay—the overall cleanliness more than made up for it. If you’re looking for a spotless and modern place to stay, I highly recommend this hotel.

The breakfast is not the best.

The front desk manager and room were nice. It’s also in a great location, close to a lot of stores and food.

The housecleaning could’ve been better. We requested service each day and sometimes they wouldn’t come, or they would only bring towels. We were out of soap and they didn’t give us new, they also left trash in the room. They also offered complimentary coffee/tea but it was usually cold or just lukewarm.

Staff during the day were very friendly. Rooms were very spacious and well kept.

Couple of points for feedback. We were traveling with our infant grandson and requested a crib. A pack and play was provided, however, it wasn’t assembled. We arrived late, so having to deal with assembly of it when everyone was tired and grumpy was challenging. While it wasn’t a major issue, it would have been nice and thoughtful for the unit to have been assembled. The only other minor thing was it would be nice to have usb ports on both sides of the bed.

I like everything about this hotel. It is fairly new, the rooms are excellently laid out and well appointed. The room is divided with a desk with an openable glass divider. There is a couch with a pull-out trundle bed. The location is wonderful, especially if you want to use the Cherry Creek Trail to walk or bike. Many fast food and regular restaurants nearby, and Costco for gas and other stuff. Breakfast is extraordinary.

The only thing that was uncomfortable is that the lobby and breakfast area are about 66 degrees, extremely cold for us. We did a six day stay, then a four day stay two and a half weeks later, and the AC in the lobby was not fixed. A repair man was working on it the morning we left, but obviously the management didn't make this a priority, even though the staff was suffering.

The hotel overall was very nice and clean. Bed was fairly comfortable. Access to 470 made getting to the airport easy and quick. Will stay again for those early morning flights.

Only draw back was it's loud. You can hear doors closing and people in hallways. But overall a good place to stay.

The room was not clean and the beds were so uncomfortable

The breakfast was a little lean compared to some other breakfast buffets we have had in other hotels. The check in staff was pleasant. The location was very convenient for us, which is how we came to be interested in this facility!

The room layout was odd and very inconvenient. Although we booked and paid for a room for a couple, we feel like the room we got was set up for a business traveler. Much of the room was consumed with a desk which was in the middle of the room and which we did not need at all. The bathroom glass door was directly across from the foot of the beds and so when one party had to get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom turning on the light caused the other person to wake up as the light shone on the beds. A crazy set up which was so inconvenient and stupid I would love to meet the designer who thought this one up. Also making us feel this room was set up for one person was that the coffee supplies included coffee and cup for ONE. Also on this sliding glass bathroom door there was a smear that was either blood or ketchup. Another problem was the lighted mirror in the mirror that was set up for a taller person and the bottom light on the mirror frame blocked out the whole middle of my face. It was not adjustable! We tried!! I was forced to the side of the backing mirror which was limiting. We did mention the problems with the room at the front desk and asked if some of the rooms are set up for tall, solo travelers being sarcastic and the lady just nodded and did not offer to move us or ? We ended up cutting our stay short, 2 days not 3.
