    • I don’t even know where to begin! The ranch is absolutely beautiful and well taken care of. We had privacy despite feeling part of a working farm. Ming and Garry are incredible hosts and were happy to share their knowledge and love for the area with us. The fresh eggs and vegetables from the garden were delicious as were the lamb chops that we grilled on our back deck. Every aspect of the design and decor of each building on the property has been carefully and lovingly planned. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped. The bathroom was supplied with everything one could possibly need!! We absolutely loved our stay and only wish we could have stayed longer. We will be back for sure!!
    • From the moment we arrived, we felt like part of the family. Garry and Ming are incredible hosts, full of warmth and genuine kindness. Hanging out with the cows and sheep was such a treat, and the rustic old cabin where we stayed had so much character and captures the charm and spirit of the place. Every detail felt thoughtful yet natural, and the atmosphere was peaceful and grounding—it’s exactly the kind of spot you hope to find but rarely do. The whole vibe is relaxed and genuine, and Garry & Ming go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and at home. If you want a getaway that feels real, with awesome people and lots of friendly animals, you absolutely have to check this out! I’m already looking forward to going back
    • Location is beautiful. Accommodations were perfect. Free eggs were delicious. Owners are awesome. Possibly the coolest place we've ever stayed. Looking forward to a return trip.

    Cons -

    • Nothing!
    • It’s a 17 mile drive from main road. Internet, cell, and lightning was not good for two people trying to do some work.
    • I had to leave to return home.

It’s a fabulous place for an adventure with families. Loved seeing the sheep and cows. The greeting was great and we had a way to connect if we had a problem.

Amazing ranch property with passionate hosts and beautiful barnyard animals. Our Cowboy Log Cabin was cozy and tastefully appointed with authentic ancestral pueblo art and Southwestern flair. We loved feeling at home on the ranch, we hope to be back someday!

Great guest farm. Gary and Ming really live for their farm and the guests. They showed us and the kids around and were very helpful. Great guest house with everything you need. Everything in very good shape. Definitely worth a visit. Lovely surroundings, nice area. Would definitely come again.

Staying in the Sky Kiva was truly exceptional. Garry and Ming are wonderful hosts. They gave us so much information about the area highlights. We also enjoyed the lamb and steak we bought from their ranch. This place is great and we will be back again.

Quiet surroundings. Everything was clean. It was wonderful watching their livestock and friendly dogs. I was looking out the window and saw a horse casually trot by.

This is no tourist trap. It’s an authentic working ranch run by an amazing couple & the perfect last stop on our journey to the area, especially after hiking for 4 days in Mesa Verde, Chaco Canyon & Hovenweep. Never thought I would put great value for a $250 a night lodging but it was more than worth the value.

I had to leave to return home.

Garry and Ming were incredible hosts and we loved our stay in the Cowboy Cabin! We felt off the grid and was nice to enjoy the peaceful “ranch” life while interacting with all the sheep, dogs and cats! We particularly loved there new cat, Hoot, he was such a sweet kitten and anyone who stays there will love him!

The location was beautiful. The setting was beautiful. The cowboy bunkhouse cabin was decorated fantastic. It’s definitely a one butt kitchen but my oh my it was just fine sitting on the front porch in the mornings with the cup of tea.,was so relaxing .I got to feed Longhorns. I got to feed a cow. I got to feed the sheep, Ming and Garry are the most gracious wonderful considerate host ever. did I mention in the morning when we open our bunkhouse door there was a cat greeting us, coming to have its breakfast too. The farm fresh eggs that they give you were delicious. Also, Mings homemade sage soap was so smelly it. It was wonderful.

The only negatives that I can think of is the knives in the kitchen needed sharpening and they needed an egg flipper for cooking the eggsI

This is a magical place, as is everyone who works there. It's a gorgeous spot, our cowboy cabin was like stepping back in time, except with all the modern and comfortable conveniences. Ming puts eggs in your fridge, and shares the property and animals with her guests in such a generous and kind way. We loved walking on the property, there's so much of it, with the dogs who would join us and the sheep moving around to their hearts content.

What could have been better? That we could have stayed longer. If you enjoy riding horses, Ming will steer you to her friends down the road, another marvelous place, with lovely horses, wranglers and stage coach builders!

Charming, clean and comfortable cabin with wonderful attention to detail. Delicious ranch raised beef and lamb for purchase to cook over the outdoor grill provided. Finally Garry, the owner was an exceptional host. Along with being generally delightful he provided us with excellent tour around sites of the ranch. This was an excellent place to stay.

    Nothing. It was all excellent.

It was magical, the setting, wonderful people and animals. Also, very restful.

Bugs that bit us in the evening.

Wagstaff cabin is homey and beautiful. Terry and his wife are excellent Ranch Managers and hosts!

    10BrittonPosted on: 7-20-2022

Ming and Garry were gracious hosts willing to spend time with us and introduce us to the beauty and animals of the ranch. We had a great time getting to know them and the "incredibles" a bit. The time spent at the ranch was one of the highlights of trip to the four corners region. Great place for families or a couples getaway. We hope to return someday soon.

    10DavidPosted on: 6-25-2022

Loved the expansiveness of the property mixed with the ample yet quaint accommodations. Excellent location near an amazing winery, canyons of the ancients, and only a short 30 minute drive to town. There are so many other attractions less than an hour from the ranch like a national park, four corners, and tons of rich, American history.

It was a wonderful experience filled with adventure and nature. The cabin was perfectly appointed and the hosts, Ming and Garry, were interesting and provided helpful information freely. The setting was serene and beautiful. A perfect escape from a busy lifestyle!

Spectacular place, truly special, with wonderful hosts who gave us a full farm tour and great area suggestions.

We were in the Cowboy Cabin which was quite nice except the kitchenette was very small. I wouldn’t expect to do a lot of cooking in it. This was only that cabin. We saw some of the larger buildings that were gorgeous and spacious 8n every way, great for larger families/groups.

A comfortable rural experience. First visual impression from driving in: children playing outside without electronics, and men working with livestock on the ranch. The owners, Garry and Ming Adams, are wonderful people and excellent hosts.
