Trinidad Inn

This hotel had the kitchen thoughtfully set up with everything one would need. I was very impressed. The sleeping room had lovely antique furniture, cozy bed and fluffy cottagey blankets. The grounds were lovely with a gazebo, BBQ, and easy parking.

The heater kept the room toasty warm but bcz its an old style it was slow to heat up or cool down.

Nice little perks like the firepits, bbq, and basketball courts.

Some things were dated and needed replacing.

Excellent staff, price, kitchen, bedroom, scenery, & location near the great oldgrowth redwood groves.

Our room was cozy and reminded me of grandma's. Loved that we had an overstuffed couch to watch tv. We loved the outdoor toaster in the gazebo.

Bathroom fixtures were clean but dated.

Everything was there, what you want for a pleasant stay. The kitchen was perfectly decorated and clean .. Even coffee powder was available. The motel is ideal for multiple nights and as a base in the Redwood National Park.

the owner is very friendly and attentive. The rooms are very big and clean. She also owns a trail in the woods leading to the beach which is very near to the hotel. Very quiet and safe.

We absolutely loved the owner/proprietor, she went the extra mile to make us feel welcomed. They have Cards, board games, and DVDs for your entertainment...unfortunately, we did not have DVD player in our room, but we made due with the cards.

Cleanliness is an issue here...while there is a full kitchen, one of the pans was coated heavily with grease. This leads me to believe that other areas of cleaning are not being looked at properly. However, we will return!

The hotel is a dump. It appears no one has updated anything in over 20 years. We couldn¿t wait to leave
