This motel, just off Highway 101, is 7 miles from San Jose International Airport. It has an outdoor pool, as well as expanded cable TV and free Wi-Fi in rooms. Motel 6 Sunnyvale South has a front desk that is staffed 24 hours a day. Coin laundry is also available at this pet-friendly motel. Santa Clara Convention Center is 3.5 miles from the Sunnyvale South Motel 6. Great America Theme Park is 4 miles away.

- GOOD: It's cheap, period. Probably one of the cheapest motel/hotel you can find in this area.
- Staff was extremely friendly
Cons -
- BAD: One of the worst hotels/motels I have been to. No nothing is provided. No bottled water (which I guess I expect for this price?). No tissue (surprising). No shampoo (what?). No one cleans your room during your stay.
- Everything. Staff were not friendly and kept repeating a thing over and over when I was talking with them. They are not there to help the guest(s) and just doing their jobs. If I had not paid attention they would have charged me more than supposed price.
- The location isn't great for walking.
